Summary: A delightful and entertaining book !
Review: Casey Dorman's book will provide the reader with an enjoyable and fun trip into detective land. I found "Pink Carnation" to be charming, cleverly entertaining, and well written. I would highly recommend this novel for mystery lovers...

Summary: Orange County Romp
Review: Casey Dorman's Phinneas and Kim Routledge are in the tradition of Dashiell Hammett's Nick & Nora Charles and the plot machinations of The Maltese Falcon. An entertaining romp through California's Orange County, both past and present, that'll leave you wondering what's fact and what's fiction.
Ron McGraw--Author of Harry Black & THE DELPHI CONSPIRACY

Summary: Remember "The Thin Man?"
Review: If you remember Nick and Nora Charles, ( the "thin man" and wife) then you are ready to meet their modern equivalents Phinn and Kim, an amateur dectective and his wife who live on California's Gold Coast. They banter back and forth as Phin is drawn into a mystery almost against his will that he has to solve to survive. I enjoyed the setting. (I once had an office across the street from the courthouse described in the book.) The author's use of Vietnamese sayings reminds me of Charlie Chan. His description of academia is wicked and witty. I definately recommend this book.
