N.O. Survivors

Summary: Briskly paced cross between Grisham and Crichton
Review: Like most books, N.O. Survivors took a few pages to get into the flow, but was certainly worth the wait. The book has the medical detail of some of Michael Crichton works, especially the actions of the villain (oxygen system and water piping). The relationships between the various groups within a hospital are true with the occasional tensions. Having the Director of Risk Management be the central character uncovering the 'accidents' is a neat change from the doctor centered hospital stories you usually get. There are several twists and turns that kept me really interested. I finished the book over the weekend and thought that a sequel can not be far behind. I can't wait.
