Summary: I Highly Recommend this Novel! Extremely thought provoking!
Review: This is truly an amazing novel! I was literally taken aback by the reality of the plot, reminiscent of the American Revolution in 1775 which led to the best years this country has ever seen, and the best experiment in freedom. The novel actually gets one to thinking, "Another revolution COULD easily take place!" Mr. Purdy's research and projections for the future of our tax system and gross neglect of our men in power is frighteningly realistic. He demonstrates the ever-growing gap between the rich and powerful and the weak and poor, and the results of this power going unchecked by the people.

The American Praetorians are created to help stop a stumbling America, and restore it to its former glory. The Praetorian Army is modeled after the old Roman army of the same name, designed to safe-guard at any cost, the nation and its people, protecting it from tyrants and dictators, cheats, decievers and other destructive forces which threaten its existence. .

I think the novel will become extremely controversial because of the content, and further, some of the events the author predicts in the book, have already started to come true! He also mentions directly or indirectly, many figures easily identifiable in our present society. If you are searching for controversey, look no further than The American Praetorians. It might be just what the people of this country need to read in these crazy, tumultuous times! It will make you appreciate good, honest and moral freedom again, and maybe start to wonder, where it all is going.

This book would be a great movie if it ever gets that far!
