Rating: Summary: I Dare You To Put It Down!! Review: The first part of this book was a foundation, an education, if you will, so the full meaning of the story is absorbed. This prelude captured my interest and wasn't able to put it down. I found Rise Desertman to be intriguing and unpredictable, the suspense had me jumping up and down. I loved the character, Pasha. You could feel his pain and hear his thoughts and revel in his glory. I found myself yelling out loud when Pasha was finally faced with his lifelong enemy. Ron Strauss did a wonderful job in capturing me on an emotional level and held it until the end. I look forward to reading more material from the author.

Rating: Summary: A GREAT NOVEL Review: This book starts out with a very interesting scene and the reader becomes immediately interested in the story (like a John Grisham novel). It is a very fast paced well written book that takes you on an exciting journey. It is the kind of book that is so exciting you hope that it will never end. When it does end, you look back and realize that you have just completed a book that is a True Novel in the classic sense of the term. You have learned something important and are a better person for having read the book. I highly recommend it.
Rating: Summary: Rise, Desert Man Review: What a spellbinding novel. RDM provides one part action, one part intrigue with a pinch of romance. The "behind the scenes" maneuvering between such players as the President of the United States, The Prime Minister of Israel, Pasha Ed-Al, the terrorist Nayeff as well as the CIA & the Mossad, is fast moving and makes one wonder: how much of this kind of thing really happens?
