Review: Crosswell hits the mark when it comes to describing what its like to live in Southwest Virginia. The book is fast paced and does not get bogged down in needless descriptions. Much like the area of Southwest Virginia that he writes about, the language is stark and bare-boned with nothing to hide. It is in-your-face and politically incorrect. A good read for the summer in the lawn chair with a glass of ice tea overlooking the next ridge.
