Summary: you cannot tell them from others
Review: I have been a Dallas Police Officer for over 30 years. Bill brings to the surface what police officers all over the world know, there are people like the bad guy in the book. You cannot tell them from others. They are out there. During the interrogation of the suspect and the right button has been pushed, the suspect can be pushed over the edge and will react as the bad guy did in this book. This book is a must read for all mystery fans. I was not able to put the book down.

Review: Mr. Hamner's writing style hits you right between the eyes when you realize you've been yanked straight into his story as if you were really there. He's ruthless with his reader - never letting go to the very end. A very exciting end, at that.

Jack Stone, the main character and cop in this book, has easily joined company with the heros and legends of the most infamous authors today...Patterson, Cussler, Ludlum...just to name a few with whom he compares.

Night Eyes is laced with the intrigue and drama of a true story-which leaves the reader to wonder, is it? And then same reader must put the book down long enough to go check all the locks on their own doors, just in case it is.

The plot races, and Mr. Hamner has done a delightful job in making me want the next book so badly, I can't believe it's not in print yet!

Very nicely done, Mr. Hamner - a true fan here.

Review: Very exciting new novel. Hard hitting, but based on real crimes of the Dallas area. I really am looking forward to his next one.
