Review: Jenny Kilb is an artist who creates wonderful intensely colored somewhat dream landscapes, Southwestern rock formations and vistas among other things. In her first published mystery, Pilgrim, she has done the same thing with her writing. Her heroine, Sarah Farling, is a spirititual seeker, an artist, a pilgrim. When she becomes entagled with the inhabitants of a New Mexico ghost town turned Art Colony and the murder of one of the residents, she goes about solving the mystery in the same way that she goes about solving the mystery of her own life, as a spiritual journey. A great read! More than just a formula mystery here. Thank you, Jenny.
