Review: this is a really good book. It was funny and the characters were so real. It was sad too. It made me cry. It has everything a good book should have. Tomae Sidney is a gifted writer.

Review: This story comes from a place and time many of us can identify as our home, too. I felt like I was reading a friend's diary or was perhaps a sister of the main character, Annie. The author tells an emotional story with such grace and humor that I read it in one sitting and reread it at a later date. Worth the read, definitely.

I would recommend this book for something to read quickly because once you begin reading, you won't want to lay it down. The characters in the story are the kind of people you can find in any town and the events could take place in any family. Every woman looking for a relationship should read this book first before choosing a mate. Any woman could very easily find themselves in an abusive situation as Michelle does. Your heart will go out to Annie and you will want to help her search for answers to the mysteries that lie in the pages of this incredible cliff hanging book. You will want to read it more than once like I did.
