Review: "Surviving Pieces" by Dana Matthews is a fascinating read that literally left me spellbound. Matthews weaves a fictional story around an intriguing subject matter involving reincarnation of twin souls. The concept is unique and the most interesting I've read in a good while. Matthews touches upon a horrific time in history in a way that is absolutely enthralling and powerfully delivered. She writes with vast knowledge of her subject, as well as the psychological field, past-life-regression, and law enforcement. Matthews brings a much-needed fresh voice to the literary field and is an author who will prove to be a mainstay. "Suriviving Pieces" is a book that reads like a bestseller, and one I highly recommend.

Review: After reading this book, it really angers me to walk into a book store and not see it on a big display. There are so many shelves taking space that nobody touches these days because we have all read the same thing over and over. People glance and walk by those books. One could not do that with this book. If you picked it up to browse through a few pages, you would find yourself not wanting to leave the store without it. It kept me thirsty for the next line. All of the things the world is now discovering with ESP and the realness of it, this book was perfect timing. Especially for the new computer age we live in. This author takes it to another level and convinces a skeptic. Many authors write about reincarnation and such. This is unlike ANYTHING I have ever read before. Brilliantly talented author. The literary world is BLESSED to have such a stunning new author flying off the shelves! It would be a movie I would go pay to see at the box office. I am interested in reading the sequel "Final Wishes" to see how they are doing after what they have been through and discovered. A MUST READ book!

Review: Detective Tiffany Potter is alone in an abandoned rubber plant when she is ambushed and left to die. Somehow through a mental connection she is given the will to survive by someone she has never met before.

Author, Dana Matthews has masterfully crafted a tale of reincarnation and mystery. Added to that is the perfect mix of love, devotion, and well-written scenes. This was an intriguing mystery that pulled me along page after page!

This captivating love story with solid character development offers enough twists and turns to please any reader. The subject of reincarnation of twin souls, who are intimately melted in spirit and thought, captivates the reader with poignant detail and perfect pacing.

When the main character's life becomes a chaotic spinning ball the events unfold with amazing depth and research told in Matthew's distinct writing style. This is absolutely a case of finder's keepers! I'm very glad I found this talented author and Surviving Pieces is definitely a keeper!

Summary: A beautiful masterpiece!
Review: The topic the author uses is one that has been tossed around for centuries-reincarnation. The intertwining of souls is dealt with in a most precious way. Twin souls intertwined by their thoughts and actions is very intriguing indeed. But the author graciously creates each soul and cares for them with utmost delicacy and care; as they are both dear souls searching for meanings. I enjoyed this book and think there should be a sequel so we can find out how each one is doing! Additionally, I could see this as an animated cartoon or even an after school special. The theme would be great and allow for suspenseful episodes each week. Now don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying this book is a children's book, (I'm not trying to mislead anyone); but what I am saying is the "theme" could be used for an animated cartoon or after school special. The contents of this book is soley for adult readers. So, enjoy the read! I surely did!
