Summary: More John Stanford
Review: I can't wait for more of John Stanford. This book was delightful, suspenseful and left me wanting more. I hope Mr. Towslee has more adventures and murders up his sleeve..

Summary: Great Read
Review: In one split second, fate changes the life of reporter John Kennedy Standard, sending him on a downward spiral that would cause most people to scramble. Yet he refuses to run from his past, and although a little rough around the edges, he never loses his wit nor his integrity. In his quest for the truth in a world where "money rules" and "politics becomes the last refuge for the desperate and uninspired," Standard bumbles along and then lands firmly on his feet. This thriller has it all--intrigue suspense, humor and a surprise twist on traditional justice. If you like "murder by book" stories, you're going to love this one!

Summary: Fun new author
Review: This first book by author Tom Towslee is full of quirky, characters and wonderful descriptions of Portland, Oregon and familiar parts of the Oregon Coast. It's an entertaining murder mystery that will appeal to those of us who appreciate "who-dunnits" without an overload of gory detail. The main character, John Standard (love that name) will work his way into your heart and you'll be cheering for him to find and foil the bad guys as the book reaches its finale. Great fun and a great way to while away a rainy Oregon weekend.
