Review: A far better experience than expected. Well crafted and detailed characters set in a background that keeps the pages turning . . . and Ms Mardorfs words fairly dance upon the pages, as if this is her tenth novel instead of her first. I'll purchase the next one.

Summary: An enjoyable read
Review: I just finished reading Spare Parts. A literary critic I'm surely not, however, to use a well-worn cliche, I know what I like; and I like your book. I think the character development is quite good - there's enough background to let the reader get to know them, and where they are coming from, but not so much detail that one has to plod through their entire life stories. The plot unfolds smoothly and is all too believable to someone in our industry, and maybe to those outside it as well. Also, the titillating touches of eroticism are delightful. The story moves along smartly and, somewhere around Chapter 7, I became so caught up in the action that I had to see it through to the end, though I had intended only to read a couple of chapters this afternoon. As I voraciously devoured your tantalyzing tale, I became alternately intrigued, enchanted, infuriated, excited, charmed, enticed, saddened (that such things can and do really happen), aroused, gratified and, all the way through the book, thoroughly entertained. Thank you Judy, for a very enjoyable reading experience.
