Summary: This has got to be filmed.
Review: A brilliant book, laughing and crying all the way, especially laughing on the bus trip!!!!! It leaves you thinking 'just get out there and do the things you've always said you'd do'. I feel I would like to see this acted out, perhaps as a new 'Bridget Jones' with Dawn French as Jen, it would be hysterical. If you're reading this Rachael Conisbee I can't wait for the sequel. Whoever represents this woman is going to make a fortune - I wish I was a literary agent now!!!!

Summary: a tiddy dols strumpet
Review: A very enjoyable book that every woman and some men can really get to grips with. It held my attention from page one to the very end, i really needed to find out what happened in Jennifers life. Really looking forward to the sequel with great relish.

Summary: LOVED IT, LOVED IT, LOVED IT
Review: Funniest & most touching book I've read in ages & ages. You're right with the protagonist from the first page. It's the perfect beach or airplane book & I promise you won't put it down until the end. I was about to give up on modern fiction until this book came along.

Summary: Powerful, thought-provoking-this will make you laugh and cry
Review: I read this book last week, and I immediately warmed to the style of writing in the first person style. This gives the story an extra dimension as it is very personal and we bond with the writer's emotions, and we are put in the situation ourselves, and we think and know exactly what the writer is thinking as if they were our own thoughts.
Without giving too much away the story revolves around a woman who is given some bad news that she is very ill and has a short time to live. She decides to do many things she had always wanted to do but living her life menat she had unfulfilled ambitions. This does not necessarily sound like the makings of a comedy, but I can assure you that it is extremely funny in many places. It is also sad and moving in many places, and it will have the reader becoming very emotional as the story progresses.

I found it extra-ordinarily funny, and the writing style is intimate and because of that we actually become the person in the book. There is a moral here in that we should all live life to the full right now, and we should all experience as much of life as we can-tomorrow may be too late to do it. Very powerful and extremely thought-provoking.

Summary: Catch the bus now!
Review: I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to read Rachael's book while it was still in draft form - I must say I could see her book on the screen immediately. The way Rachael can become so intimate with her characters and make the reader feel as if they are intimate friends...that is a true talent.

I must say I still have visions of the bus scene as I write this review. And of course the piercing scene, but Let's not give it all away. The first person writing style will have you in the front seat of this hilarious journey.

Rachael is a breakout storyteller, weaving a master read in Running Out Of time. You will laugh and then need to wipe your tears. I look forward to the sequel. You must read it for yourself.

Summary: Was she /wasn't she
Review: Jens rollercoaster ride is no more than most of us would have done in the circumstances what sets this tome apart, is the total believability in the way it is written, great yarn ,great holiday book because millions of ladies go on holiday and want the Ahh and YES factor in the skin blistering time they spend reading books of this ilk,can be done in an afternoon and then off to the taverna or whatever for the pre dinner explosions of colour and alcohol,or a more leisurely bottle of Albarinho or what ever the trendiest new grape variety is,and just relax, this book is great companion for those moments.Good Book i'll read the next one when it's written and i can get it off my wife.
