Summary: The Funfun Club
Review: Author Crosby has produced another great read, one that is very different from his first book Delen Close but, nevertheless a great story that keeps you turning page after page as the characters come alive. The manner in which characters are introduced and their lives woven together throughout the book shows considerable thought in developing a captivating plot. If you were not Irish when you started the book, by the time you finished you either wished that you were or could at least be closer to people who are so like characters in the book.

Summary: The Funfun Club May Keep You Awake At Night
Review: If being totally absorbed in a complex plot is your idea of fun reading, George Crosby's latest crime novel is definitely for you. After the introduction of protagonist Detective Bill Reardon in his previous book," Delen Close", Crosby has developed and "fleshed-out" the character in a very positive way. You feel an emotional connection to Reardon and you begin to cheer on his pursuit of the bad guys. Crosby's villains are so thoroughly villainous you have not a shred of sympathy for them and that's half of the pleasure of reading this kind of book.
The choice of "The Funfun Club" as a title is inspired. The juxtaposition of what could be a name for an all- girl rock band and a grisly story line adds to the reader's interest. George Crosby should develop a good fan base as he moves Detective Reardon though further adventures.

Summary: Funfun Club and unintentioned consequences
Review: Well, George Crosby has done it again. Here is a great mystery story with twists and turns that keep you on the hook to the very end. Who would have thought that the fun we indulged ourselves in as youth could have such fatal consequences for us as adults.

Crosby does a terrific job of developing the characters without burying you in a mountain of unnecessary detail. Be forewarned, your not going to be able to put the book down once you start.
