Review: I have just finished this book and must say it was an extremely good book. It makes you think about for days afterwards. Almost makes you want to read it again and again. Am waiting for either a sequel or another tale about the Vetseras. Keep them coming!!

Review: I knew the premise of this book before I read it. I loved it from the first page. What else can you say? It is just plain old good writing. It has some good original twists on an old familar story. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good book.

Review: If you like suspense and drama, then this book is for you. Each character is wonderfully detailed. You are drawn to each person and feel what they feel with the turn of every page. You keep asking yourself what is going to happen next. This book is truly one of the best I have read in a long time. I am a big fan of Jo C. Johnston now and am looking forward to her next book.

Review: It's been a long time since I stayed up past midnight because of a book, but Jo C. Johnston's "The Hunter's Moon" was one I couldn't put down. I did finally get a few hours of sleep, but jumped up early the next morning and finished the book. I just couldn't concentrate on anything else until I knew what happened. The characters were well written, and I really cared what happened to them. The language was consistent with the characterizations, and helped me really get a feel for who the people were. I found the diary segments fascinating, and really enjoyed the way they told the story of a love that endured--I won't say more--READ the book! If more of the suspense/horror books on the market had twists and turns like this book, I'd probably have to get used to staying up late. I can't wait to see what the author comes up with for her next book!

Review: The Hunter's Moon by Jo C. Johnston is a great summer read. It is suspenseful throughout and a terrific blend of historical fiction and horror. Jo Johnston's descriptive talents are second to none and the scary portions are truly frightening. I can't wait to read the next book from this author!

Review: This is an excellent novel which captivates your attention from the first chapter to the last. It is very suspensful and keeps you guessing until the very end. The plot unfolds superbly and is very well written. There is a lot of attention to detail and all of the characters are very real. You really love some of the characters and hate others. It sends shivers up your spine. There are a lots of twists and turns in the novel and I enjoyed the whole story, especially the ending. It is a very different love story.

Review: This is the best story I've read in a while. If you like a scary book that will give you nightmares, this is the one. It has the best story and charater depth I've ever seen. I hope to see another book by this author real soon.
