Rating: Summary: Disorient Express Review: Disorient Express: A bird's eye view of real police work. Mental Health Officers are the street officer's last resort to bring help to the social outcasts of our society. Mr. Lawson's book vividly describes the looks, smells, surroundings and gallows humor that enforcement officers work in everyday. Most mental health professionals don't get a chance to work with their patients in their natural surroundings. Surroundings that are usually squalid and potentially lethal. I am looking forward to Mr. Lawson's next publication. After thirty years in law enforcement I enjoyed reading a COP book that was realistic and tells it the way it is. Jamie R. Page Lieutenant Travis Co. S.O Austin, TX.
