Summary: REAL AND SEXY!!!
Review: After reading some of the reviews on this books I was skeptical in buying it. Im glad i didnt listen to the negative reviews. for once the hero wasnt some oopver the top good guy. he had problems and insecurities that made him a little rough around the edges. but thats what i liked about him. you never knew what to expect and i found myself both anxious and curious as to what the character would say or do next. The heroine was also real in the fact that even though the hero was tough and at times mean to her, she understoos that it was all a front to shield himself from what he knew was inevitable. Fallin in love. Its not the typical quirky romance from susan anderson. Its dark and violent, and it keeps your interest from start to finish. And with all that it still had some of the steamiest sex scenes Ive read. they were hot and sexy and it made the characters more honest. All in all it was a very good book and a definite keeper.

Summary: Sorely Disaapointing
Review: This book is entirely too slow. The stalker has only shared his thoughts with readers one time and I'm on page 130 for God's sake!! Just when is the intrigue going to begin with this book. All it's talking about is Ivy and her family members. I don't see the relevance. I've already established that she's a well-known and well-liked physician so why all this unnecessary mumbo jumbo. I'll try to finish the novel but I can make no promises for I am already thinking about lighting a fire and throwing this novel in it!!!

Summary: a very good Susan Andersen's book !
Review: Well, I don't understand why people doesn't like Vincent, the hero. He's a cop. Of course, he reacts as a jerk but why not ? His ex-wife was a ... (she slept with anybody and he didn't know it at all before finding her in bed at home with her last lover).
Since then, his sex life came to an end for three years because of lack of self-confidence.
And then he met Ivy. She's gorgeous and his new neighbour.Unfortunately, he met her while she wears a full glass of condoms (gift of welcome in her new flat by her cousins) and immediatly Vincent reacts as a jerk believing she's a hooker...
Of course, she's not, she's a surgeon and very soon she's in danger because a rapist is interested in her (obsessed in reality). Vincent is the cop who is dealing with the inquiry, and very soon the two heroes must deal with each other : Vincent doesn't want another desastrous relationship and he's scared as to be involved with another woman and let his heart to be brocken again...
At the beginning the heroine is mad about the hero and his attitude of rejection toward her but very soon she understands his attitude is a protection against his wounded heart. And he apologizes very soon to her because he knows his attitude hurts her : he's not such a jerk ! he's tender and loving and Susan Andersen knows how to write a hot scene sex.
No really "obsessed" is a very good book and if you like SA (I do), just read it because for once the hero is really tormented but he wants sincerely work on his attitude and his past.
He knows he's wrong but he has good mental reason for it, he has been wounded and badly, and only Ivy can soothe him ...
The suspense about the rapist is also a very good one and the second characters are very smart...
A good lecture for summer...
