Rating: Summary: brilliant work; fair treatment; well written Review: this book reads like a novel, but has plenty of business punch. subject individual and corp really come to life here. author seems to understand the corp mind and structure as well as the high-tech world and writes at a level that the low-tech reader can understand. book will probably become a b-school staple!
Rating: Summary: Good read, but what about services? Review: This guy writes very well. I was more than curious about why he devoted less than a page to Global Services. I know a consultant that Gerstner lured away from PW. I took that as a signal that Gerstner wanted the best. I then bought stock in IBM, and wow!
Rating: Summary: An interesting book Review: When I first finished reading this book, I found that something was missing. I realized that the book is very basic and doesn't treat the fact in a business way. This is the kind of book that I do not recommend as an always reading. The writter of course is very capable, as he has already proven but it surely does not concern of writting a book. It makes me shamed that Amazon.com recommends a book like this.
