Rating: Summary: I gave two years of my life to it, at least give it 3 hrs. Review: Love,

Rating: Summary: quickly becomes tiresome Review: maybe because it was written several year ago, or maybe due to my jaded proximity to San Francisco, but i thought this book was lame. i was debating about giving it two stars -- it's not very well written -- but it does touch on aspects of lesbian life as promised. i mean a feather-weight, barely there touch, and not the delicious kind that can give you goosebumps. if you're looking for something silly and shallow, or a gift for a just-out 15 year old in the Midwest, it will suit your tastes (ahem). otherwise, there are better reads around.
Rating: Summary: A must-read book for every lesbian!! Review: The authors have created a gem of a book. Not only is the material hilarious, it's so true to life! I've never come across a book about gay women that really "hits the nail on the head" like they have. There were several instances when I actually had to put the book down because I had to finish laughing. I've recommended this to all of my friends - gay and straight.
Rating: Summary: Humorous Satire for LGBT Pop Culturists Review: This book is a funny book that should tickle the humor bones of all LGBT pop culturists. It is by all means not intellectual discourse but we all need some moments of fluffy fun once in a while! Some have taken this book and tried to review and analyze it as if it were to be taken as a literal textbook. Um, no. Not at all. It's all humor! Let's just look at it that way. A book about lesbians by lesbians told through humor. Political correctness aside, this book is a fun satirical take on the lesbian community in the 1990s. The book is an easy read and makes a great gag gift for any lesbian or honorary lesbian in your circle of friends.

Rating: Summary: A book of cheeky lesbian tidbits. Review: This is the first lesbian non-fiction book I had ever purchased, and I loved it -- an easy read that's very well put together and with a great sense of humor (although the given resources are now a bit out of date), the book is likely still a fun read for anyone entering into "lesbian culture" with their tongue planted a bit in their cheek.
Rating: Summary: It stands up to many rereads Review: This is truly one of the funniest books I've ever read and it gets out of the gay ghetto and the gutter. The authors have such wide-ranging knowledge and sophisticated humor it makes me want to kiss them both and promise my hand in marriage.
Rating: Summary: Great book to read while flying Review: This was one of the funnest books I've read. I love the down to earth quality of it. It totally destroyed all the sterotypes out there and gave great ways to break up with partners. A must read for all new to the lesbian lifestyle .
Rating: Summary: I Laughed so hard I almost pee'ed Review: Tracey and Pokorny have a real winner here. Great suggestions for films, records, and books. And you gotta love two girls who have the nerve to stick up for Amy Fisher.
