Summary: Well researched and factual
Review: I am continually amused by the 1 star reviewers who feel that America is out "to get" Bill Clinton and close their eyes, their ears and their minds to anything that provides facts.

The fact is that Bill Clinton could have and should have stopped Osama bin Laden but didn't. Obviously he had a different agenda and couldn't even be reached and when he finally was reached, he waited.

Once again, Bill Clinton had the power to stop bin Laden but blew it.

To the people that say, "just move on", ask anyone who lost a loved one during Spetember 11, 2001 who could be alive today if only Clinton had acted like a leader.

But then again, what would you expect from a leader who lies under oath?

To the individual that asked why it took this book so long, why did the author wait two years to write it. If that individual really read the book he should know that a lot of time was devoted to writing this book and getting published is no easy task. I am sure that if Patterson would have chosen to go the "self published" route, he could have gotten his book out sooner but real authors choose quality and Patterson I am sure wanted to get his message out to the masses--America nneded to know this.

All I can say is, thank God we had a real President in office on Sept. 11, 2001 who was available and re-Assembled a military to protect this great country. How unfortunate that Clinton (and Gore) looked with disdain on the military.

It's all about values.

Summary: I couldn't put it down!
Review: I normally hate political books, but this was recommended to me by a friend. Once I got through the foreword, I couldn't put it down. In fact, the list of people waiting to read it next is a mile long!

This book shed some amazing light on how we got to where we are today with regards to terrorism. I can't count the times I got angry over Clinton's complete inaction in the face of critical decisions. If you hated Clinton before, you're REALLY going to hate him after reading this book.

This is the fastest book I've read in quite some time.

Summary: An indictment against Bill Clinton
Review: This book is an indictment against Bill Clinton.

The damage Clinton did to the US is unbearable.

He was a true jerk, as this book clearly details.

Summary: Another Broken Oath
Review: Some people think oaths are antiquated and irrelevant in our modern world. This book demonstrates what can and did happen when our president violated many oaths (of office, marriage, law practice, grand jury, among others) and the devastating effects it can have...people can and did DIE as a result! LTC Patterson gives a birdseye view of the Clinton's dereliction of duty, up close and personal. It should be required reading for New Yorkers and all Americans before the Senator from New York stands for re-election or election to higher office. My only critique is its brevity as I am sure he could have written volumes about that pair.

Summary: Well Documented Book On How Clinton Abused His Role As Pres.
Review: Read this book and you will understand why Bill Clinton, a supreme egotist was the worst President our country ever had. He was a womanizer, draft dodger and hated our military. After reading it, I realized that Bill Clinton abused his role as President of The United States. Too bad he just won't go away, he always seems to want to get back in the spotlight.

Summary: Political Triumph - At The Expense Of American Security
Review: I certainly do not know the intricacies of what went on inside the White House during the Clinton administration, nor during any previous president, but this book is certainly an indication of the complete disrespect and inefficiency with which the Clintons ran this country. I am neither a conservative nor a liberal. I am simply an outsider without any military ties or political agenda. And although there are people who are guided by a political ideology (many times unsubstantiated), I am not one of them. This is simply my own assessment.

The unfortunate effect of the Clinton administration on the US foreign policy is nothing more than the gamble of democracy. Unfortunately a large portion of Americans were (and are) blinded by the materialistic and shallow world in which we have accostumed to live, and the so-called "prosperity years" with fictitiously bubbled-up bank accounts made us complacent and conveniently ignorant to the realities that were occurring under President Clinton. Is the media's lack of exposure to blame? Or is it our ignorance and unfounded trust toward our leaders at fault? This book represents an eyewitness' account to the atrocities and improprieties committed by one man (and wife) guided by power, greed, and lack of basic morals. It should serve as a teaching tool to all Americans to be more conscientious and to honestly analyze our own actions and their consequences, as they clearly affect present and future generations.

We Americans, especially the black and minority populations, are improperly misinformed and misguided; all with a political agenda in mind. Yet we remain ignorant, complacent, and forgiving. Unfortunately, our God-given ability to intelligently analyze reality is gradually become impaired. If the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks are not an eye-opener for all of us, and the understanding that it was due to the collective byproduct of inept and gutless policies of previous administrations guided by political ratings, I don't know what is. How many of us have stopped and thought deep and hard about the actual facts that lead to this massacre? Or is it easier for us to sit back in front of a TV screen or newspaper article and have some individual, guided by his/her own ideology or political incline, tell us what they call "facts?" The ineffective and weak stance of President Clinton against the multitude of threatening actions of North Korea, China, Russia, Serbia, Cuba, Iraq, Iran, and others are the reason we're having the foreign policy dilemmas of today. It is the reason why so much money now has to be spent rebuilding the military (dismantled almost to the core by president Clinton), alongside the improper and excessive spending by our own elected officials that our deficit is growing exponentially. Are the problems we're having today really due to the ineptitude on the part of the Clinton administration or a master plan to rest the blame on the incoming administration at the expense of the American people's security? Judging by the facts presented in this book, we're simply paying the price of the political ratings, personal weakness, incomprehensible pacifism, and disregard for the US military by the Clinton administration. This book is a testament of reality, not of fiction. It's not criticism or partisan politics, contrary to what many may believe. It's not a "right-wing conspiracy" as Mrs. Clinton and others have vociferously proclaimed many times. It's simply presenting the facts, along with human feelings of a proud US soldier, for us to digest and come up with our own conclusions, something that the mainstream media utterly fails to do on an everyday basis.

I commend Mr. Patterson for having the courage do divulge what he saw and felt, and I hope more people like him come out and speak the truth, not only about Mr. and Mrs. Clinton, but about any political corruption that takes place in our country. It's the only way to bring back accountability and responsibility for our actions to our everyday lives, a quality that's shamelessly disappearing. It's a way of protecting our future, a way to continually improve on the strong values with which this great country was founded.

I give it 4 stars (not 5) because it's simply too short. I'm sure there is much more Mr. Patterson could have written. I respect his reasons for not including more details.

Summary: bad bad bad
Review: Wow, shocking revelations here. If the good Colonel saw what he saw with the groping of the cadet, why not report it? Why not bring it out in the press, why not present her today to bolster his case?

Somalia? I'm tired of hearing of this as Clinton's failure, including the misconception that Clinton put troops in Somalia. George Herbert Walker Bush put those troops there. True the use of them became misguided over the course of his first year in office, but he relies on his advisors as any president would. Who might those advisors be? Colin Powell, I've heard this name somewhere before, was still the chairman, and in charge of the military, much culpability lies with him.

Somalia is frequently used by some of a certain political persuasion as the lynch pin in the argument that the loss of American Blood has shown the terrorists that we are weak and will run at the site of blood...yet they frequently overlook the ill-conceived Beruit expedition of 1983 wich cost us 240+ young lives and we left with no good results illustrating to terrorists that they can kill us and we will run.

I thought Colonel Patterson was the keeper of the codes, how can the president lose them then? Was it not Pattersons job to stay close the both the codes and the president? Sounds like a dereliction of duty on his part.

This can go on forever.

A lot of what he writes can only be taken as his word as there is relaly no way to verify the truth, all in all a poor work of fiction. About all I can believe from this book is that Bill Clinton was president Hillary was his wife and Colonel Patterson somehow observed them.

Anyway look and see what this book is recommended to be bought with:Ann Coulter, whom I consider to be one of the many Joseph Goebels imitators polluting our country, and you can guess what type of book this is going to be...shrill, opinionated, angry hateful...but little on the factual side.

Summary: If you would think of Hillary for President READ THIS BOOK!
Review: Great Book! It's good to read an honest account of what happened from the inside and from someone with no political motivation. These people abused their office more than any of us could possibly imagine. They are truley the Arkansas Hillbillies!

Summary: one of the best presidents we have ever had
Review: To begin with, the first thing you see is Clinton with a golf tee in his mouth intimating it was all just fun and games (I don't know how many Republican presidents I have seen playing golf. I have friends that play golf some are Republicans some aren't, but they all work hard. Our current president takes the whole month of August off every year.). During Clinton's administration, all the people have to do is use their own eyes to see how much they accomplished while having to fight the right-wing bashers and a Republican Congress to boot.

As to their supposedly indifference to terrorists, that is a lie. Clinton's administration foiled several attempts. Read the book "The Clinton Wars". He told the people that it was one of the main concerns of our country (I heard him) and told the incoming administration the same. He had made several attempts to go after Bin Laden, in fact, he had a plan to go into Afghanistan shortly after the election, but didn't want to start something with the new administration just coming in to office. Reportedly, the plans were left with them only Rice denied it even though there was a witness. There is more documentation that will discredit this author on that subject.

As to the files that Hilary took with her, I imagine it was her work. She did not sit around twiddling her thumbs. She was writing a book, and if you had read some of the books, "Living History" in particular, she did a lot of her writing on her trips. You need paper and files to take with you for that. Does he see what was in the files? hmphf..

Let's see, Hilary would swear sometimes, he says, (wow!I bet none of you have). I'll bet most of you that voted 5 stars did the same with Ann Coulter's books. I know that gal can swear like a banshee, but, I know, it's different when you do it.

He said that Clinton complained and said that the previous administrations were the cause of a lot the problems he had to face, well, duh. I was alive and there during the twelve years previous to his presidency during the three terms of Republican presidents and I know of strong Republicans who were cussing their party even before Reagan was out. They had the biggest deficit ever until the son came along and in two and a half years has taken a country with a surplus and made it the worst deficit this country has ever seen.

I have always voted for who I thought would do the best for our country, sometimes more Republican and sometimes more Democrat, but there is no doubt in my mind what party I will vote for now.

The next man that has this author working under him is probably going to sweat and wonder what kind of book he'll write about him and what kind of malicious stories he'll spread. Honor and decency doesn't seem to belong to some people.

I could go on and on, but I saw him on C-span once and even there he looked like he didn't know what he was talking about, end of story.

Summary: Thanks to Clinton & Hillary, we had 9/11.
Review: A great book. And an eye-opener. Folks, lets face it: if Clinton had spent more time dealing with national threats (like Osama's crew) and less time getting his groin fondled by a fat horney intern, we wouldn't have had 9/11.
