Review: I found it interesting that there were over 300 negative reviews on this OUTSTANDING book by Hannity before it was even released. People indeed have already made up their minds and don't want to hear the truth. I listen to Hannity on the radio and watch him on tv as well. He is telling it like it is. Problem is, people would like to hear something else even if it is not the truth.

Summary: Hannity has no qualifications as a serious journalist
Review: Like virtually all of the "pundits" Hannity's background not in history, political science, working in government, or even a well-grounded backgroud in journalism. Sean Hannity is a journalist and he writes like one. His ideas have all the sophistication of a few guys arguing at the local barbershop, and his grasp of historical backgroud and political subtlties are nonexistent. There have always been a significant number of Americans who want simple answers to complicated issues. They are will to sacrifice accuracy, depth, insight, and truth to that lone quality of simplicity. If you work through Hannity's book and know something about history (both recent and long term), the political situation in other nations, and the real psychological make up of real human beings (instead of the cardboard constructs that Hannity creates), reading Hannity is gigantically painful, bedause he seems to be a symtom of the self-willed ignorance under which millions of Americans exist. How else to explain that this guy has an audience. To anyone with any background in history, political thought, and world studies Hannity is transparently an entertainer, providing the stuff that he knows he devoted followers want to hear. That is the ONLY criterion for what he writes: "Do the people who buy my book want me to write THIS or THAT?" Never does he ask, "Is this true?"

Summary: Another wakeup call.
Review: This book is another attempt by a concerned American to alert us of our complacency towards those that have an agenda for the destruction of the United States and the means to carry that agenda out. The book is not simplistically written as some have suggested. I wonder how many of the negative reviewers have actually read the book. It doesn't get any more simplistic than writing a review for a book that you haven't even taken the time to read. This book is worth every minute spent reading it even if you don't agree with Hannity politically.

Summary: We must resist and stand up to extremism on both sides.
Review: Liberalism is the generic term used by conservatives to describe those who disagree with them. This man equates liberalism with terrorism. Our governement has declared a war on terrorism. He thus, at essence, is advocating that 50% of Americans should be what attacked? locked up? killed? On his book cover, he stands in front of the Statue of Liberty thus implying he is a great American. But where is his love of freedom of speech? Where is his love of public debate? Where is his tolerance? Where is his reason? Where is his connection to his fellow Americans? Indeed, where is his humanity? This is a man who has somehow tragically become the very despot, the very "terrorist" (of those who disagree with him) that he most hates. Surely there must be some of you who, even though you agree with what this man says, who can also see the corruption and danger of his extreme and violent stance. More than ever, it is you who need to be couragous and take a stand for moderation and humanity among your extreme friends. There is no more time left for standing on the sidelines. NOW msut be the time that you find your courage and speak up. None of your friends will listen to a "disgusting liberal." What this man is advocating is ideological unification and purity. Nations which have demanded this of their citizenry in the past have traditionally been enemies of the United States of America and the Free World. It's not what you really want. It certainly isn't what I want. Let's stop it together -- on BOTH sides. If you have read this far, I genuinely, deeply appreciate it. Thank you.

Review: I love america and Mr. Hannity. Woe to all of these subversive posters who are lambasting this opus magnum without having even read a word therein !!! You are being monitored by the Patriots and may soon be arrested for unamerican activity.

Summary: it must hurt to be hannity
Review: Did you ever read one of those radical Islamic screeds where the guy rails on and on about how America is the great satan? Or Nazi propoganda about the Jews? How about David Duke talking about African Americans? Well, you get the idea. That's how this book reads. The man has invented this identical group of people he calls "liberals"- they laugh alike, they walk alike, at times they even talk alike. And Hannity hates them all. And Hannity goes on and on about it for 300 painful pages. All things Republican and "conservative " are good. All things Democratic and "liberal" are bad. It's.....well....it's...BORING! Hannity has made a lot of money and gotten more-or-less famous with his Limbaugh wanna-be shtick by kissing the hand that feeds him so well. This book is to serious political commentary as the new Britney Spears album is to Bach. If you like Coulter or Savage, spend your money on this. And may God have mercy on your soul.
