Summary: Deliver us from evil?
Review: How about delivering us from Sean Hannity?

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Deliver us From Unthinking Hatred
Review: I bought and read this book. Hannity is espousing nationalism, not patriotism. His premise is that anyone who disagrees with "our greatest Presidents" as he calls Bush (and Reagan), is evil. Not wrong or errant: evil. He trots out the usual suspects: nations who don't like us and "liberals". He calls the Democrats dangerous, accuses them of assembling (one can only assume it is intentional) the worst candidates possible to try and lie about "the truth" as Hannity sees it. Ah yes, the truth "as only I can deliver to you ladies and gentlemen . . ."

Hannity exposes the true reason for our loss of prestige and the great outpouring of sympathy the world showed us after 9/11. Apparently, the democrats who control the media and all thought, ruined our image abroad and destroyed all good will in this nation. They also crucified Christ, clubbed some baby seals, impregnated your daughter and are secret Islamic spies. George Bush did nothing wrong, it is all "their fault". That's called scapegoating, in case you were wondering. What ever happened to the GOP I once belonged to that held as its mantra personal accountability?

This book is long on opinion, and short of actual data. He uses circular reasoning (a trait that identifies much shallow thought in our nation). Hannity, and sadly much of our nation, seems to be confused as to what constiutes patriotism and what constitutes nationalism. Nationalism is extremely dangerous and the volume and degree of nastiness in the last few years coming from certain talking heads on radio and TV is capable of being compared to any hate propaganda of the last century. Democrats are tresonous (Coulter) are intentionally poisoning debate (Hannity), etc. Nationalism most often devolves into fascism (and we all know what honest supporters they had? All outraged opinion and no data). Patriotism, on the other hand, holds true to libertarian ideals. Ideals that apparently one cannot have if one disagrees with "our greatest president" and asks that he be accountable. Unfortunately, accountability, it seems to Mr. Hannity, is for other poeople. The gravest threat to our nation, apprently, is that anyone ask W Bush a straight question about 9/11. An honest accountant fears no audit. The most secretive presidency in our nations history, and one of the most partisan ever, gets less scrutiny in Hannity's new book--far, far less--than does Hillary Clinton who shares a chapter with Bill. Perhaps the most tired, unexplained, and ridiculous dogma that the right wing trots out when it wants to keep the spotlight off the White House is: It's all Hillary's fault!

What are we so afraid of that we need to keep blaming the last president, after almost four years, for? Really, one might trot back to Reagan/Bush and see most of our current issues developing: we prop up Saddam, get slaughtered then turn tail and run in Lebanon (turning tail after getting whacked, by the way, is not a method identified by most Arab thinkers as engendering respect amongst ones enemies). One also might ask: why was Bush on a one month vacation and trying steadfastly to kill attempts to ferret out Al Qaeda and ignoring briefings during the most critical period before 9/11? Why didn't we do more and why is it all everyone's fault but Ws? I mean, everything was Clinton's fault until W became president than it was even more Clinton's fault?????? Because Sean says so! Doesn't a "fact" like that make you happy? Come on everyone, let's grab a cross and flag and all sing Onward Christian Soldiers together, shall we?????

The scary thing is that conservatives own the media and there is no effective rebuttal and debate mechanism in this nation. Books are released to wholesalers in large lots so Hannity can say "see, it sold x copies, its a bestseller" when many are given away by right wing opinion distributers such as News Max (got my copy for .99 cents Ls and Gs). The right wing talking heads scream down (think O'Reilly here), manipulate data (can anyone say "Ann Coulter"), and publish reams of nothing but opinion. Ladies and Gentlemen, opinion is not news, it is not data, it is not fact. It is self serving, as is this book. I'll put it on the shelf next to my "George Bush Action Hero Doll" that NewsMax sent me and worship at the shrine of unthinking, unrestrained hatred that wraps itself in god and the flag--as if god cannot speak for himself and as if the nation needs to lie to defend its honor and ideals.

Summary: Hannity is an Ann Coulter wannabe...
Review: Hannity's "Book of Hate" is his desperate attempt to overthrow the Queen of Hate, Ann Coulter, from her lofty perch with her other vulgar right-wing whacko bomb throwing vultures. Sean's hatred for America is what this book shows, as well as his cowardly ways. The only "one" word I can think of to describe Hannity is, "he is the lowest form of low life dirt bag trash scumb of the earth". I gave the book two stars only because someone's employment depends on the publishing of books. Don't you dare show up here in Boulder, Mr. Hannity... we'll run you right out of town!!!

Summary: You no doubt have your opinion on this but...
Review: I often say the difference between me and these new 'neocons' is that I actually am a republican. Not Sean, he is conservitive but does not advocate classic republican values. He just claims to. This whole Liberal=evil is just plain silly, it is a flimsy arguement that holds very little creedence under careful examintion. Does he want to go after those who arm terrorist? nah blame liberals. The Economy, guess who, crime, you guessed it. You will no doubt find liberals are also to blame for cold winters, sunspots, and lost keys.
The part I do take exception is the claims of Christianity. Just try and imagine Jesus saying what Sean does... It's hard isn't it.
This is a book for the right wing conspiracy theorists, please read Mike Savage for right wing politics, at least he is consistent, if not sometimes paranoid, in his positions.Sadly this books simply serves to bait Democrats, and offers no intelligent solutions for the very serious problems that our country, and this world, face.
Thank you.

Summary: A weapon of mass instruction
Review: Sean's book accurately portrays the danger of appeasement policies of the democrats over the 25 years. It should be a "must read" for all students of history, so that the same mistakes will not be repeated.

Summary: We fear what we don't understand:
Review: Of all the negative reviews about this book I've read there is not one that is substantively based and executed with any intellectual merit. I do, however, hear nothing but disparaging remarks and attacks against the book's author, yet I can guarantee that these "critics" haven't even read the book! Nor do they plan to.

I can understand why liberals absolutley hate Sean Hannity and his book: he calls Evil by its name, and furthermore calls them (Liberals) by their name. Hannity doesn't equate liberalism with evil despite the popular belief of those who haven't read any more than the dust cover. He masterfully illustrates how liberlaism, by nature, ENABLES evil to flourish unchecked. Hanntiy says with certainty that there is evil in this world, and as such it must be defeated. Liberalism, he contends, is a hindrance to our winning this war against evil, and so it must be defeated as well.

The theme of the book is simple: Evil must be confronted and defeated; the Democtratic party is incapable of prosecuting this war to ultimate victory. They simply cannot be trusted with the security of our nation.

A must read for the intellectually honest, conservative or not.

Summary: haalth insurance, Kerry's wife
Review: Sean, what is your solution to the health insurance dilemna? Are people who have lost their employment entitled to health care. More importantly, do YOU care?
Instead of focusing on your continuing hatred for Hilary Clinton, why don't you focus on health coverage and other vital topics. Yes, YOU have health insurance. Guess those millions of people who have been laid off from their jobs over the last three years who DON'T have health insurance are of no concern to you. George Bush has NO solution, no answer for those without health coverage.
Also---you're already making fun of John Kerry's wife. On your show the other day, you said "she likes to be called Ter-aza, NOT Teresa."
That was childish of you, Sean. Would you want another man making fun of YOUR wife's name? Focus on the issues and stop being so childish. Men who ridicule women in that manner aren't worthy of our respect.
And oh....I love it when you plead your cause with your "innocent" choir boy voice, as opposed to your angry voice. You're a good performer!

Summary: I sent this book to my Brother in Iraq...
Review: I sent this book to my Bro in Iraq (He's with the 3-504th PIR, 82nd ABN). I also purchased one for myself (I'm with the 1-156th AR, LA Nat.l Guard ~en route to Iraq). We both love it! The amount of pride that I felt while reading this book was unbelieveable. This book has a double-meaning that most Libbies will never understand: don't judge a book by it's cover/name. Read the book. Don't just throw paragraph-bombs with catchy Al-Frankenesque-one-liners and expect to change the minds of others... Sean Hannity is the real deal. READ THE DARN BOOK! This man speaks from the heart and soul of America. Stay alert, stay alive, vote GOP. Bush-Cheney in '04!

Summary: what about Communist China?
Review: Yes, Sean...why don't you complain about China? A brutal, violent dictatorship which is filled with slave labor camps, political prisoners and death squads for those who openly disagree with their dictator's iron rule.
Remember Tiannamen Square, Sean? College students were murdered for speaking out against Chinese communism. Millions of people are forced to work in slave labor camps their entire lives. No freedom for those people.
Of course---George Bush, Sr. has business dealings with Communist China. He visits there often. And the dictator of China was recently welcomed at the White House.
Conservatives like yourself love to pick and choose which brutal dictatorship they will become angry over. All others--you ignore. Why don't you cry a few tears over the enslaved Chinese for a change? Why don't you speak out for them? Why don't they even matter to you?
In your next book, devote a chapter to the suffering people of China.
