Summary: please read this, Sean
Review: Sean Hannity glorifies everything that is Republican and has overlooked numerous mistakes and tragedies committed by the Bush administration. For Hannity, an ideal world is having only ONE political party to vote for--the Republican party.
SEAN--why are you NOT complaining about Halliburton's overcharging of the American taxpayer for their no-bid "services" in Iraq? Vice President Cheney earned $44 million during his employment with Halliburton and he still earns a huge salary from that company every year, along with owning $38 million in Halliburton stock options. Doesn't that concern you in the least?
SEAN--why haven't you mentioned the names and backgrounds of the 550 young soldiers who have died in Iraq? Do you realize that 10,000 civilians have also died in that country since the war began? What about the American soldiers who return--not in body bags--but with parts of their bodies missing? They are without arms, legs, eyes.....they are permanently and horrendously disabled. Are you so uncomfortable by the mere thought of these disabled veterans that you refuse to discuss their injuries on your show? Have you ever gone to a veteran's hospital to visit them?
SEAN--what about Valerie Plame, the CIA agent who was "outed" by someone in the Bush administration? Robert Novak, the journalist who revealed her identity, is a good Republican like yourself. Why don't you interview Novak on your show and ask him who revealed Ms. Plame as a CIA agent? It's a felony to reveal the identity of a CIA agent, you know. And since you're so outspoken about law and order, why don't you try to find out who did it?
SEAN--You have said repeatedly that Iraq had to be invaded because the people there had no freedom and no civil rights. What about China? Why don't you talk about the slave labor camps in China, in which millions of people are forced to work for their entire lives earning no wages? Those people have no freedom of speech. They have absolutely NO personal freedom. They live under brutal Communism. Yet I don't hear you complaining about THAT dictatorship! In fact, the dictator of China was recently welcomed at the White House with open arms. If you're so big on personal freedom for everyone in the world, why didn't you speak out against the captive Chinese who are not allowed to speak for themselves?
SEAN--you constantly ridicule the idea of national health care. Did you know that more than a million people lost their jobs over the past year, though no fault of their own? And that means they also lost their health insurance. Many of these people have family members who are being treated for cancer or other diseases. Without health insurance---that treatment stops. I just read about one family. The husband was laid off from his longtime career in business. He also his health insurance. His wife was being treated for cancer--weekly chemotheraphy treatments. But now she must go without those treatments and she may die because of it. What about THESE people, Sean? Hospitals are being built in Iraq with OUR tax money. In fact, every citizen in Iraq is going to get free health care with our tax money. Should hard-working Americans who have lost their employment through no fault of their own be denied health care? Should a woman be denied chemotheraphy because her husband has lost his job? THINK ABOUT THAT, Sean. These are REAL problems which are affecting Americans right now. Why don't you talk about this?
SEAN--you keep defending the war in Iraq. Did you know that it is STILL costing $1 billion per week? The cost has not lessened. And this #1 billion per week was NOT included in the $87 billion that Bush recently received for Iraq as a package deal.
You HAVE sold your soul to the GOP, Sean. You are towing the party line. Were you ever an independent thinker?

Summary: Judge your friends by their enemies
Review: Judging by the number of idiotic ad hominem attacks on this site by people (and I use the term loosely) who have obviously neither read the book nor listened to his television or radio shows, Hannity must be saying some painful truths. I have just started the book, but I am looking forward to being "Hannitized".

Summary: Deliver Us From Evil-Informative and Well done!
Review: I guess I shouldn't be suprised that some jerks here blast Sean as brainwashed or hateful without citing one example of how he is so. Oh well.

I met Sean the day after the book came out when he came to my town, watch his show everyday, listen to his radio show when I can, and have read about 170 pages of his book (quick read, too).

I am very conservative in that I adopt libertarian positions in economics and have somewhat of a libertarian ideology, but I am for military intervention when American interests are involved.

So, though Sean is a little bit too quick to always say "liberal this" or "liberal that", I think his beliefs are for the most part very good ones (sometimes he, like liberals, flat out doesn't trust people on their own and without government, which bothers me).

Like he says, though, on the issue of defending America, Bush has been refreshingly (and I speak personally-regardless of what the pundits say) clear and candid with America about his policy, and he is the top guy for the job. I have to compromise a lot to vote for Bush when it comes to economic issues and those of government intervention domestically, but on our federal government's most important role, I have come more and more to the conclusion over the past year or so that we need the tough and straightforward leadership of Bush.

And, in his book, Deliver us from Evil, Sean Hannity lays out the case for defense. It is bothersome how in the beginning is seems less prepared to inform and more inclined to say "liberals do all this stuff wrong, and let me tell you what I believe". But, after the first chapter or so, Sean gets into the details, and lays out the case for his position. And informed one and one which does not politicize, indeed. And, the politicization and opportunism by Democrats angers him, as it does me, and rightly so.

So to the bashers-read the book. I, unfortunately, bought a lot of liberal propaganda, too. It's easy when you NEVER hear the other side's case, or even know of one. Fortunately, now, I know that the liberal case in many positions is often one of trying to pick apart minetuia in order to defend their positions, and blast their opponents, rather than come down on the side of righteousness and defend the lives of Americans, regardless how uncomfortable it makes them or how it hurts their election chances.

Summary: We need more of him!!!!
Review: I am sick and tired of individuals leaving bad reviews for this book because they will not admit their views are wrong and need to be changed.

Sean Hannity is a gift to journalism. He is willing to do the research and "talk the talk." I love the chapter on the Clintons. Its too bad Ken Starr couldn't get them.

Keep up the great work Sean!!!

Summary: Required Reading for the 21st Century
Review: In this age of 24 hour news cycles one would think the American public knows all that it possibly can about every issue facing our nation today. Unfortunately this is not true. Much of the truth is twisted and facts are blurred. A clear vision of what we as Americans need to pay attention to for the sake of our futures and the future of our children is a rare thing to find. Sean Hannity has 20/20 vision.

In his newest book, Deliver Us from Evil, the reader is taken through a history lesson and shown that if we are not careful, if we are not mindful, we are doomed to repeat our recent history of the horrors of 9/11- only this time on a scale much greater than we ever could imagine.

Do not fall into the stereotype trap of automatically classifying this book as "right wing propaganda" because you will do yourself a great diservice. Every fact in this book is backed up by real and credible sources. Mr. Hannity spells out exactly what happened and what we Americans have MUST do protect our Nation.

There is no bashing or name calling or anything of the sort. It is clear and conscise. It is chilling. It is a revelation. What makes it a revelation is the fact that not EVERYONE is thinking the same way. It seems like Mr. Hannity is the only media person who has a clue as to what is important. And it is not domestic policy agendas- it is the way in which President Bush has handled an unseen, unforgiving, unrelenting, unparalleled enemy.
Never before have we been in a war with people who want us dead for the simple reason we are Americans. And they got very brazen- because they learned through the past administration that America will not defend herself.

They underestimated what a true leader President Bush would be and is and will remain. Mr. Hannity sees it. And he spells out all the actions that this administration has taken that can give us hope that we WILL defeat Terrorism and Despotism hopefully in our lifetime.

Mr. Hannity is openly critical of some of President Bush's policies on his radio program - so this is not a campaign book.
It is the simple truth. And what frightens me the most is that Americans are becoming complacent. They have forgotten the horror of 9/11. Sean Hannity has not. And this book helps you to remember what we are up against.

The term "elite media" has always bothered me because it presumes that its members are some how superior...if that is true then why are they so blind? Why can't they see, as Mr. Hannity does, that we must do everything necessary to protect our nation? This is not the UN's war- this is OUR war. They attacked US. And instead of taking a poll and mulling it over in Malibu discussing what our reaction should be - we had- thanks be to God- a President who knew exactly what had to be done, his administration was made up of varsity players who knew what to do and we are slowly but surely ridding the world of the evil doers who massacered innocent men, women and children who were guilty of nothing more than going to work one Tuesday.

Sean Hannity tells us what we as Americans must continue to do to be Delivered from this Evil that has touched our lives.

Everyone should read it. Everyone should watch the film of the Towers collapsing so they do not forget. And Everyone should thank God we have the President we do and a truly SUPERIOR media personality like Sean Hannity to speak the TRUTH.

This book is required reading for any American who complains about the war. Mr. Hannity will spell out for you very clearly WHY we are in a war on terrorism. After you read this book, you will find that maybe following sound bites of "elites" is not the intelligent or safest way for you to form an opinion. Your life is at stake- your children's children will suffer the consequences if we fall back into old, disasterous patterns.
Thank you Sean Hannity for writing this book.

Gina M.

Summary: Deliver us From Evil is right on
Review: Sean Hannity has done it again. He has suscinctly spelled out the agenda of the effect evil has on the world. From his spellbinding recap of the holocaust through the fall of the Communist regime in the Soviet Union to Ben Lauden and Saddam, he has captured the meaning of evil and how to combat it through the leadership exhibited by the Bush administration. Sean identifies tha fallicy of the Liberal Left wing trying to utilze the appeasment method to "win over" the enemy. His book is excellent.

Summary: ............................
Review: Although Sean Hannity can be at times overzealous, he is on the right track. Liberals do in my opinion have the wrong thought process and they frustrate me. I do believe this war in Iraq is just, and the @$$hole that keeps calling conservatives "chickenhawks" is a moron. As a matter of fact some of us "chickenhawks" like me did go and enlist, I am in Army ROTC in New York and plan to fight in the war on terror. So watch who you call "chickhawk" @ss. You could be making a fool out of yourself if half of those "chickenhawks" are in the military and are fighting the war you call unjust.

Summary: Truth hurts, doesn't it?
Review: This is a hard hitting book which the liberals in this country can't stand because it tells the truth. His discussion of the evils of Nazi Germany - and the obvious comparisons with Saddam Hussein - show just how appeasement didn't work in 1938 - or in 2000. I'm still reading the book, but I agree with his assessment of Ronald Reagan - I was in the military during this time and those of us in then knew our national enemy was Communision and the Soviet Union. Sean pulls no punches here - good work!

Summary: Did I say one star? I *meant*, like, minus 1000 stars...
Review: This jerk's all whiny--"they're tearing my book apart and THEY PROBABLY HAVEN'T EVEN READ IT!!". Yah, well, in my case at least, completely true, jagoff. But here's the deal...we ain't tearing your book apart, it's YOU we're ripping. And here's why--you KNOW that you're leading the idiotocracy down the garden path, and you're gleefully counting your ill-gotten bucks while calling 'em "great Americans". It's just fricking SICK. There is a very special hell reserved for you/Limbaugh/O'Reilly and all of the rest of you who shepherd the easily led into useful idiocy. May god forgive you, because I won't.

Summary: Look from the Moderate point of view
Review: Right wingers, stop calling everyone who chooses to not support the ideas of ultra conservatives like Hannity. First, the supports that he uses in his books are totally unfounded. Several times he even uses his own book to support wild accusations. Read the endnotes of the book. There is no research there. Second, liberals like Franklin Roosevelt fought against Hitler's Germany and tried his best to get the country to help Britain. He tends to forget that the Conservatives and the Republican party refused, YES REFUSED!!! to give aid to help the British and even many like Charles Lindbergh supported Hitler before the US entry into the war. I wonder what the leader of the Republican isolationists would say about a US invasion of a country.

Now to the ideas of despotism, he blames liberals for that also. But once again, liberal thought goes to more individual freedom not less. I find it amusing that Hannity thinks it is ok to take away people's liberities at the same time stating the war with Iraq was to help give them freedom. Tending to forget that the Iraqi government of Saddam Hussein was set up and supported by the the Godfather of conservatives Ronald Reagan. A fine example of conservative is the very idea of making a constitutional amendment against gay marriage. I don't support gay marriage but I don't like the idea of an amendment that would be the first to interfer with personal liberties.

I don't hate Hannity, he has a right to his opinion. But to argue that liberals are terrorists, people who believe in fair teatment under the law as an enemy of the US, without any type of true evidence and with out anything but hate to support himself,.....Also find it ironic that Hannity spews hate while Moore and Franken, no matter how wrong attempt to spew satire.
