Summary: Why is Ann so angry?
Review: If your a moderate Republican or McCain supporter, this is NOT the book for you. Ann doesn't like us very much. Seems she equates anybody that doesn't share her opinion as a liberal. And liberal is a dirty word in politics.
Also, Ann is very angry about alot of things but I don't understand why. Most folks see thru the obvious liberal media bias in this country, which is the probable point of her book. If we didn't, then the entire Congress and Presidency would be consistantly Democratic. Right?
Anyhow, she has some good points and does some good research but nothing is black and white. Also, I can't get over her attacks on the moderates.

Summary: I am ashamed of being a conservative.
Review: After anxiously awaiting Ann Coulter's "Slander," based on recommendations from like-minded friends, I ordered the title and read it. I must say that I am ashamed to be a conservative if a woman like Ann Coulter is our spokesperson. Don't get me wrong -- I'm as right-wing as they come. But to read Ann's outrageous mania regarding the invasion of other countries to kill their leaders and convert the masses to Christianity, I realize that she's no more than an inflammatory talking head for those leaning more towards the facist end of the right spectrum. I've seen her on CNN since reading the book, as the "liberal media" has her on frequently, and her remarks are no more based on fact than your average guy on the street with his own axe to grind. Subsequently, I've heard from former co-workers than Ms. Coulter read virtually nothing on day-to-day current events, yet she was the most outspoken on matters concerning those events. I never imagined that my political party would continue to worship the likes of Trent Lott, Jessie Helms, Tom DeLay, Dick Cheney, Ann Coulter, and Rush Limbaugh. By the way, save the accusations that I'm some liberal who is giving the review a 1-star. Is it so outrageous that a fellow conservative might think Coulter's book to be totally deficient of substance and worthy of a poor rating? One problem with the party today is that any Republican seeking to go against the right-wing grain is treated as if he or she were the Anti-Christ. Just look at how John McCain has been treated since the election. I would not recommend this emotionally charged book and would suggest that Ms. Coulter take a sedative and begin to gain more knowledge about the world before penning another best-seller. I suppose that those who know it the least, know it the loudest. F-

Review: I am not going to rehash the discussion in the last 300 plus reviews. Just buy the book and come to your own conclusions. This should be required reading for all incoming college freshman.

Summary: OUTSTANDING
Review: This is THE best book ever written on the subject of media bias, all the liberals can attack (Angstone, Dan Barr, Joe, lady lark etc.) but not one of them can dispute the FACTS. Read the footnotes and then make your arguments (if you can) instead of attacking you should try to learn. You have had the media pouring out distortions for years and still the TRUTH WINS OUT. Get your heads out of the sand of denial and give Ann Coulter a GREAT AMERICAN credit for exposing this liberal slant on the truth.

Review: Ann, you've done it again. You have written an objective book about the truth. Where would we be with out your insights about the liberal press? Bill Clinton should have resigned, but the liberal press supported him and kept him in office. We need more gun-toting women like you. You should run for Congress. Your book has exposed Katie Couric as a slandering liberal pawn for the left. Her statements about the king, Ronald Reagan, were truly slanderous. Ronald Reagan should be honored and never slandered like Katie did. You go, girl. We love your voice of truth and objectivity. The liberal press should learn from your writing how to be objective.

Summary: Bookstore Mazes
Review: I went into a bookstore and I couldn`t find Ann`s book. I looked everywhere. Finally, I decided to ask the clerk where I might find a "political book". She showed me a section called Social Sciences. It was well hidden. I fully expected that the NYT #1 best seller (according to Drudge)would be up front in a national book chains store.
Ann is brilliant, and she has strength, wit, and a profound ability to verify every thing that she writes. That is something that you will not find in any broadcast on national TV news programs. I cannot applaud this work enough.
I recently read Pat Buchanan`s book "death of the west". I then leant that book to 5 different people. They all loved it. I will not do that with this book. I want Ann to sell millions of copies and earn lots of money. I want her to have the money and comfort that she deserves in order that She can dedicate herself to her next work which I hope will be equally profound.
Additionally, regarding the reviewers who give only 1 star or even less than 5 stars concerning this book. They have got to do something about their diets. Clearly, these people did not read the same book that I read. Perhaps they should look at the water in their community, because something is so obviously wrong.

Review: I enjoy watching the Liberals/Democrats spewing hate and claiming that she lied.1/4th of the book is documentation and while the liberals claim Coulter spews hate, the liberals prove they spew hate in their reviews for a book it's clear they never read. Liberal hypocrisy at it finest..Too bad it's so common

Summary: Typical conservative dogma
Review: I picked this up at a friend's house (who was willing to throw a few bucks at this book). We shook our heads and rolled our eyes at the usual regurgitated stuff that people like Coulter have been whining about for years. Like most right-wingers, her vision is so laser-like as to exclude any thought that doesn't match the bully beliefs of her masters at the higher level of the conservative groups. She insults those who have a difference of opinion, makes fun of anyone who disagrees with her. Yes indeed, she is the very flower of what is good in the world, isn't she? She is the perfect representative of a party that hates anybody who doesn't look and believe as she does. I suppose we'd all be better off if we could just chuck all those creepy poor people in the trash to make way for the golden ones who are desperate to preserve their upscale way of life. How she became so filled with such hatred is a pity. Couldn't possibly have come out of her conservative beliefs. But I guess it's making her some nice profits, so it must be ok.

Summary: Entertaining and Informative!
Review: I have to chuckle to myself at the complete disdain liberal reviewers are giving this book...like we expect anything else from them on the topic!
The rants about a lack of balance, or this book being a vehicle for hate and lies are either written by those who have NOT read the book at all, or ignored the fact that it's designed to be a vivisection of the liberal media machine and the lies they help perpetrate about the conservatives of America.
This book is very entertaining, yet still smart and appropriate. A must read for any conservative looking for ammo for their arsenal, and a source for introspection for liberals, if they'd even try to read it!
Kudos to Ann for her excellent work! Every claim is backed up with documentable FACTS, and she footnotes each and every one.

Review: This is well researched and very funny. A fun book to read even for those that may disagree with, or hate to hear the truth about, some issues raised. Enjoy.
