Summary: Coulter uncorks a winner!
Review: The diva of conservative dish does it again. A non-stop expose of who controls liberalspeak in America and why. Her prose is amusing, on-target and executed with a whip-lash accuracy.

A special section is devoted to the much-maligned and far too under acclaimed conservative author and Eagle Forum founder Phyllis Schlafly, who Coulter praises as the leading force behind the rise of conservatism in America since the 1950s.

Just as "Bias" intrigued millions of readers anxious for a political viewpoint that reflects opinions west of the Hudson River, "Slander" also delivers.

Coulter deserves to be No. 1.

Summary: Ann Coulter is a Firebrand!
Review: Liberals, be afraid. Be very afraid. Ann Coulter has "out-ed" the methodology, the motivation, and the neurosis of liberals both in the media and in politics. She takes no prisoners in this volume that follows perfectly on the heels of Bernie Goldberg's "Bias". This volume is amazingly well documented. Ann has worn Nexis Lexis out! She demonstrates with vigor and credibility how Democrats and liberals have lost the ability to debate issues. Inspiring!

Summary: A good read. . .
Review: Why 5 stars? Because I'm conservative, and this book appeals to my decidedly partisan political outlook.

Let's be honest folks. None of us is really objective. We rate/vote/argue/whatever along ideological lines. Oh yeah, and the *other* side always makes it personal (goes without saying I suppose).

Anyway, if you're conservative, you'll enjoy this book. If not, it'll [tick] you off.

Summary: Strait shooter with humor
Review: Easy to read, documentation is outstanding, humor bites and the dialogue is brutally honest. Recommend a Strong Buy.

Summary: Negative reviews prove acuracy
Review: All the 1 star reviews pretty much prove how biased liberals truely are. Tolerance? Only when they set the rules. The funny thing is, I pass by books that I disagree with... I don't read or review books from the liberals. But my-oh-my, note how vicious the "open minded" crowd handles itself.

Amusing.

Anyway, its hard to argue with the facts presented in the book. For all the cruel words- where do they find anything that was inaccurate?

Summary: Best read of 2002!
Review: Great book! Well written and funny too. Liberals will not enjoyed being uncovered for what they are.

Summary: Truth is Scary to Liberals
Review: Liberals were hoping that their hold on the media would continue but now the venues of Fox TV, Drudge, and Rush are uniting conservative Americans like never before. This book is very entertaining and well written. Ann tells it like it is and I really like the chapter on having fun arguing with liberals. I mean at least people actually buy these books instead of the ones that Tip O'neil and Hillary Wrote (It takes a village to raise my Bill, I thing the title was) that got big advances but never actually sold any copies.

Summary: The writing alone is worth the price
Review: Political leanings aside, this book is a stellar work by the woman who is surely the most gifted political satirist of the last 50 years (at least) in America. Her prose is consistently incisive, pointed, witty, and more than occasionally, quite simply brilliant. She has proven herself worthy to join the ranks of great English language satirists like Jonathan Swift and H. L. Mencken. Left wing or right wing, buy this book and read it, and see how good satire is done.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Slander - An Apt Name
Review: Coulter is often strident, but there is much more validity in this book than otherwise. Well worth the money and the time. The liberal quotes are well documented and amazing. I strongly recommend giving it a go.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wow! Ann is Wicked!
Review: Wicked and right.

She ticks off the talking points and backs them up
from the left's own papers.

Block off a few good hours and enjoy this spirited
fast pace book. Coulter just may be responsible for
single-handedly bringing back the footnote!

Fireworks are the order of the day!
