Summary: ZERO STARS for Ann's latest
Review: Its almost impossible to avoid ANNTHRAX Coulter on TV. But buying the book is optional so I'd advise you to AVOID IT AT ALL COST!!!!

As anyone who has been subjected to Ann's daily appearances on TV (or her "column" on-line and in some of the nation's poorer newspapers) knows, this woman is insane. Her "political" rhetoric appears to be the pundit's version of turret's syndrome, she will say the most horrible and personal things about people, then attack them for quoting her and call it "slander".

There, you just got the idea of the book. For Coulter, its all about ME ME ME. She is a lunatic. Don't read this book.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: hypocritical, name-calling garbage
Review: from one who supposedly condems liberals for resorting to name-calling. as usual, ms coulter resorts to making page after page of outlandish claims (which she backpeddles from when confronted during television appearances). this is one of the most excrutiating reads i've ever endured. and lets not forget the fact that ms coulter wouldn't know a liberal if she saw one (she actually thinks that bill clinton, advocate of coroprate welfare, the wto, and welfare "deform" is a leftist!) this book is a blessing in disguise for liberals. the more exposure this vile woman receives, the worse conservatives look.

if you want the truth on liberalism and what it's all about, then i'd suggest giving senator paul wellstone's excellent "the conscience of a liberal" a read.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Too much whine - - goes too far.
Review: Ann Coulter's basic premise is that Corporate America has created an unstoppable hydra of liberal news media that actively seeks to tell lies about Republicans and exclusively Republicans.

It just goes too far. About half way through this book, she launches in to a story about how news reports on senility increased after Ronald Reagan was re-elected. If there was such a secret cabal of liberalism that hated Reagan, why would they wait until after he started his second term? Why not do it during the campaign? Because Presidents can only be elected twice, it just did not matter once he got into office a second time.

I can't believe that "conservative" people are sitting around reading this book and muttering "ditto" to themselves. It's just too over the top, and most of it comes from a point of view that even the most ardent Republican wouldn't really buy into. I think the book is more entertaining for "liberal" people to read, and get a chuckle out of, when they think "hey, if CBS and NBC are so darned liberal, how come they constantly skewered Clinton.

Summary: Slander "slammers" keep making Ann's point
Review: I find some of the negative reviews of this book very amusing. Those making assertions that the book is "mean" and full of "hate," obviously have not read it. Quite comicly, they are walking right into the behavior of the modern liberal movement that Ann speaks of.

"If you don't like the opinions you are hearing, attack the speaker, call names, and label them as an "extremist."

In other words, never address the substance of the argument. Rather, discredit the person who is making the argument. I'm sure some "intellectual" on the left will be labing Ann Coulter a "Blond Bimbo" in no time. I guess it's much easier to make an intellecutally lazy argument when you speak in broad generalities (about "mean" and "hate") while refusing to invest the grey matter to cite specifics. Ann clearly invested the time to substantiate her arguments and it is very compelling.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Liberal hate speech, finally cataloged
Review: Finally, someone's documented the intellectual poverty of the liberal "arguments" and put everything in one place for all to see. I would dearly love to hear a liberal refute the points she makes in this book, but it's certain they won't. They can't.

Way to go, Ann Coulter! Great book.

Summary: Are you censoring our reviews?
Review: The last two reviews I have written have been critical of blowhard, drivelous conservatives such as Frau Coulter, and have not been posted. Is this a deliberate pattern? Have the conservatives so cowed you that you are afraid to let criticism be aired uncensored?

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: I guess a "liberal" is anyone who disagrees with Ann
Review: I'm a moderate. I saw a poll that stated that over 70% of Americans consider themselves moderate, not liberal or conservative. As a moderate, sometimes I vote for conservative candidates, sometimes more liberal ones.

I wish someone would explain to me, in a rational way (which this book does not do) why the media is supposed to be so liberal. I find it very balanced, with several viewpoints available both in print and on T.V.

I think this book will only appeal to ultra-social-conservatives, not the mainstream American.

I didn't like this book at all. Not because I disagreed with all of it (I agreed with much of it), it was just poorly written.

$ave your money (I wish I did)!!!

Summary: Lump it Lefties!
Review: To those who claim its all lies, do you watch the news? What about the 30+ pages of footnotes? Hmmmm. Now if Michael Moore could only prove his ranting 1/1000th as well, Liberals wouldn't be so far off their rockers. You want truth, documented truth buy this book. If you're a lefty and want to put your head in the sand even further buy the bile and hate of Mikie Moore.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Sub-rational!
Review: The most anyone has praised Ms. Coulter for her columns was when someone used the word sub-rational. If you read this book(which I stopped at page 36) you will no doubt describe her work as irrational. She has an agenda and she spits enormous amount of venom to prove her point. No wonder after a few pages her arguments sound like the bickerings of 10 year-olds (Sorry, I have nothing against 10 year-olds' intellects)

Moore is far funnier and does make some sense.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: I'm MAD AS HELL
Review: This book makes me so mad I got to whack myself in the face with it just to stop sputtering! Ann nails me and my ilk with her intelligent and insightful writing. I am especially angry with my fellow travellers who gave this book 1 star, because they showed themselves to be as STUPID as I am!! DOG GONNIT!!
