Rating: Summary: Why we're seeing reviews from the same person Review: The reviewer from "Princeton, New Jersey" (who used to be from Chicago) reviews all the rightwing hacks, and of course gives them all five stars. He is obviously a driven wingnut who hasn't read any of these books. In fact, I don't believe many of the reviewers here have plunked down any money for this book. I certainly wouldn't. However, I do agree with the reviewer who said that Rich Lowry appears to be a healthy young man, and his place is on the front lines in Iraq defending our "freedoms". I believe that all the self-proclaimed patriots should put their tushes where their mouths are. Our armed forces are stretched thin, and we need new recruits like Lowry.
Rating: Summary: I Agree, We Must Blame Clinton For Everything. Review: As Lowry makes clear, the American people are now paying dearly for Clinton's relationship with Lewinsky and that filthy dress. Lowry connects the dots between the stained dress and 9/11, between the cigar and massive unemployment, between Gennifer Flowers and the US' inability to gain international support for war, between Hillary's health care scheme and the Enron debacle, between Clinton's "..sexual relations with that girl" statement and Haliburton's lucrative contract with the military. Lowry brilliantly traces all of America's current problems back to Clinton's cigar.
Rating: Summary: Well Researched Review: The source obviously conservative, does make a strong argument regarding the Clinton Legacy (mostly its failures). Mr. Lowry's research and notes are extensive (33% of the book). He slams former President Clinton's legacy on Domestic and International Issues. Anyone with a pro, anti, or neutral Clinton bias would be well served in reading this book and subsequently evaluating Mr. Lowry's notes. If Mr. Lowry is correct in his analysis of the former President, Mr. Clinton and or his defenders should be called upon to answer to these assertions (from the media), especially the assetions that relate to his dealings (or lack of dealings) with terrorism.
Rating: Summary: Clinton is baaaaaaaaad Review: Bill Clinton is baaaaaad. Bill Clinton is baaaaaaad. Baaaaaaa. Baaaaaaaaa...
Rating: Summary: Great Book Review: We can only hope these two don't end up in the white house again.
Rating: Summary: NOT The Same Old Mush Review: Unlike the pablum being peddled by the Clinton apologists, THIS book is well written and researched, and completely sourced. Lowry quotes Clinton administration officials and insiders to make his points, and does not rely on illogical arguments and conjecture as the revisionists do. If you want a clear picture of what history will write about Wild Bill Clinton's "legacy" in 30 years, buy this book. You will not be disappointed.
Rating: Summary: This is good book Review: I is conservative. This is good book. I like to read. Bill Clinton is bad man. I don't like him. He does bad things. George Bush good. Bill Clinton bad.
Rating: Summary: Does he need a psychiatrist? Review: I read about as much of this trash as I could stand. Thank God I didn't buy it! My real concern is how can anyone at this time talk about Clinton when we are now trillions of dollars in debt, are fighting Vietnam II and have had our civil rights stripped away? By the way, Korea, China, Russia, England, France, India, Pakistan, (I could go on and on) all have weapons of mass destruction. Let's go invade their country, Oh that's right they don't have the Oil that Iraq has, I forgot. If the Clinton years were hell then that's where I need to be. By the way did it even occur to the writer or the believers of his trash that 911 happened as soon as Bush came to office? Doesn't that tell you everything?
Rating: Summary: Same old same old........same old. Review: Whoops! Someone turned on the GOP food processor again, and out came the same old mush. Is it true Rich Lowry is actually Ann Coulter in drag?
Rating: Summary: What's the point? Divert attention from Bush again? (yawn) Review: History will show that Bush is the most damaging U.S. president. When will authors like Lowry be happy? When the country is completely in the hands of the top 0.001% of the populace? When the U.S. becomes a comletely corrupt 3rd world nation? When we have sold everything to the rich and sapped this country's strength? When our democratic rights have withered away at the behest of the corporations? BTW, don't believe the reviews that begin with "The best book I've ever read ...."
