Summary: Great resource for most of us old dogs
Review: As a shooter far more than a collector, I was looking for a one stop guide to the history, variations, and serial number reference for the 1911's that I have come to love over the last 25 years. Review: Mr.Goddard's book is a fine one and was the best on the market until Mr. Clawson's book on the same subject was published. A complete arms library should contain both publications, but I personally feel Mr. Clawson's is a pace or two better.
