Review: The horrors described in this book are only the tip of the proverbial iceberg: The U.S. government -- and many others too -- are regularly conducting experiments with psychological manipulations, including deliberate efforts to induce psychosis and memory loss, even suicide in some cases. Besides this, there is the regular use of sophisticated psychological methods in the "questioning" of persons, including those detained in Guantanamo and Iraq, so as to extract, illegally, information which can then be used against those questioned, while the methods by which that information was obtained can be denied.
