Summary: No matter your own political colors, you must read this
Review: I will not review the man -- I will review the book.

Elder gives a summary account of the most compelling issues we face in America and leaves out no sacred cows. It is written in a conversational voice and one feels one is sitting in Starbucks with a very smart -- albeit sarcastic -- person engaging in good argument. Most attractive about the book is the arguments seem to be backed by facts. I say seem, because it is not a scholarly book and lacks deep documentation behind the arguments, but Elder does leave you with enough information to find out whether he is all wet or not (and I would guess that he is not). I should think that most readers of this book are not looking for pedantic footnotes and such, so it seems to hit the spot.

My only criticism of the book is that he does allow himself to engage in some of the language faux pas' the he is critical of when used by Black Americans. But well...I guess that ain't my problem....

Summary: Courageous!
Review: Everyone that can read needs to read this book.Larry Elder has taken a courageous stand against the politicians and leaders of this country. Why are there not more of us standing up for what is right? He makes me ashamed that I do nothing but complain and never speak out about what I believe in.If he ever wants to run for president I would back him all the way.

Summary: Larry blows the lid off America's dirty little secrets!!!
Review: The only problem is, these aren't secrets!! They are common knowledge that the totalitarian thought police in America shame people into disavowing. Here Larry, a "little l" liberterian says hundreds of things that people all over America believe, or outright know, to be factually true. He doesn't allow himself to be shamed by the pressure of the thought police or the mind-numbed robots he calls "VictiCrats" (try the Caps thing L.E.)who profit from the business of victimhood which is washing over America like a tsunami.

You don't have to agree with everything Larry says to enjoy this book and find it challenging and very thought provoking. If you are a political liberal, you will not be a traitor to the cause for hearing Larry's take on today's America, you will actually prove your open-mindedness.

I strongly recommend this book, it challenges today's political orthodoxy in the same way that other great thinkers of the past have done. Read it.

Summary: Do yourself a favor! Read this book!

Summary: Concerned about the Nation's Future? Read this Book.
Review: If you are concerned about the direction in which this country is headed, you will appreciate the Sage's wisdom in this highly-readable, factually-based book.

Larry Elder attacks some of the popular contemporary politial notions, such as the health care "crisis" and and income gap between men and women, challenges the victicrat mentality, and condemns white racism as "as bad as black racism."

While certainly controversial, Elder's book is an important read for anyone skeptical of what we are told are the problems facing our country.

Summary: Oh, My Goodness, Truth is Abroad in the Land
Review: I just received my copy and am on page 59. I had to stop to rant and rave about it! I hope everyone in America will read it and I wish Larry Elder and his wife would come to my house for dinner so we could talk about it.

He hits the nail on the head time after time after time. I can't wait to turn the page and see what he says next. Gotta go!

Summary: The Ten Things You Can't Say In America
Review: Larry Elder position on several issues (e.g. Blacks are more racist than whites, Women are paid equally than men) shows that Larry doesn't understand "what's going on in America". Anyone can find opposing "facts" but the majority of evidence and the reason(s) are major factors that cannot be ignored. This is the felicity that Larry presents his information. Larry Elder's character, it seems, is clearly "middle-man" between the white-male and the rest of society.

Summary: AMUSING AND ENTERTAINING!
Review: I never heard this radio talk show host. This is the first time I have read his words or reviewed his work. He makes Joan Rivers' dialogues and Bill O'Reilly's opinions seem as fluffy and soft as cotton candy. Dynamic, terse, over flowing with facts, Larry Elder invites debate. Among the issues, the "things you can't say in America", that he dares to explore are racism, drugs, the glass ceiling, politics and the destructive media. If you read this book, you're in for a very different perspective. Underneath the searing glass of this authors microscope are Orrin Hatch, Ted Kennedy, Bill Clinton, Jesse Jackson, Gloria Allred, Dick Morris, The Los Angeles Times, Spider-Man Comics, Johnnie Cochran, O.J. Simpson, Al Gore, George Bush, Ross Perot, welfare, NAFTA, Sister Connie Driscoll and her partner, Sister Theresa O'Sullivan, just to mention a few. After a surprised gasp at this author's outrageous audacity, you will probably laugh then enter the debate. The book awakens your sense of inquiry and zeal for answers to the issues of today. Move over Joan and Bill, Larry Elders is on the move. Amusing and entertaining.

Summary: Yeah! Larry is right with his no holds barred attack on PC
Review: Larry Elder, libertarian radio commentator and journalist, tackles tough issues, challenges political correctness and presents hard facts on ten unspoken truths confronting America. Larry is candid, frank and derails the PC crowd off its tracks - whether its on the issue of feminism, gun control, race and racism or government intervention in the economy. Need a break from the the liberal media? or just simply tired of compromise and political correctness from neoconservative Republicans? Than get Larry Elder's book - The Ten Things You Can't Say in America.

Summary: A CAREFUL WARNING!!!
Review: To quote from the infinite wisdom of Larry Elder's radio show, I would like to warn potential readers that portions of his book contain cold hard facts. "Some groups may find facts objectionable: communists, socialists, collectivists, statists, 'victicrats,' and weekend-golfers" may wish to stay up to three feet away from this book at all times in order to "prevent discomforting enlightenment." Enjoy!
