Summary: A great book for evryone who loves his garden
Review: The Practical Gardener's Encyclopedia is one of the most "all-in-one" books I've ever let my hands on. It has everything from seasoned plants to great oak trees. I must say that until I had this book I found myself going around from book to book trying to figure out what to do to this plant and what to do for the next, but now I have all I need in one great book. In only 320 pages the Helen Bateman succeeded to encompass everything a practical gardener ever needs. So... If you happen to find yourself spending more than 2 hours per week in your garden this book is a must have for you.

Summary: Excellent Beginner Book

Summary: Excellent Beginner Book
Review: This book is great for a beginner. This book covers the basics of how to dig up the yard to tips on taking care of house plants and "quick fixes" if your plants look ill. I especially enjoy the list of the most commom garden plants at the end of the book. This list includes how and when and where to plant your favorite trees, shrubs, grass, herbs or flowers for both the indoors and outdoors. I strongly recommend this book for beginners.
