Rating: Summary: Wonderful teaching resource Review: To date, Roger's criticism of "Education from the neck up" (1951) has continued to be valid, and teacher's resource books have typically neglected the affective social aspects of learning. Here is a book that addresses both, presenting sample activities designed to encourage cognitive, affective and social growth in the classroom. I found this excellent for "humanising" language learning, and I found my students very receptive to these activities. I recommend this book to any teacher who is concerned with his/her students as human beings.
