Summary: It's About Time!
Review: .... She turns stock market jargon into material we can use toimprove our lives. The book is informative and well-written, as wellas easy to understand and to follow. And believe it or not, Julie is a very, very funny person. This is the first book on finances that did not alienate me or make me feel as if I had to get my MBA before I could understand and use her system. I can't wait till her seminars are available on video and audio. Sign me up in advance!

Summary: Just What It Says It Is
Review: Although I consider myself a beginner when it comes to investing, I have done quite a bit of research to try to learn the process. I have spent many hours trying to decifer the world of stock investing via the dozens of web sites that are catered to investing and stock information. I have also purchased books to assist me in the learning process. I discovered that although the Internet and those books provided a wealth of information at my fingertips, it was "information overload". I could not determine what information was important and what was trivial, and I was unable to put everything together so that it made sense. This book did for me what all those other books and Internet sites could not: It made sense! The only negative I found is that I was left with unanswered questions. However, they are questions that I would not have thought to ask before reading the book, and at this point I feel confident that I will be able to find the answers to those questions.I also don't understand the overly negative reviews. Some have expressed that Ms. Stav is giving out second-hand information. As I recall, my highschool physics teacher didn't create the theory of relativity, but he probably explained it to me better than Einstein could have. The information has always been there for me. Julie Stav simply helped me to understand it.

Review: Before I read this book I did not know much about how the stock market and mutual funds work. After reading it I was able to understand the concepts and the language of the stock market world. I love the fact that it is easy reading. There are no complicated terms or formulas to understand; it's the perfect book for anyone starting out in this very intimidating world of stocks and funds. I think every one including men and young teens who are interested in understand the stock market would benefit greatly from reading this book first. A lot of knowledge is gain from reading it. I can't wait to read her next book!

In fact, as simple as 1-2-3 and A-B-C. Now I can talk the Wall Street lingo with the Big Boys, while laughing all the way to the bank. Thanks, Julie.

Review: I have the audio cassette version of this book. I've learned so much by listening to it. She makes such great everyday comparisons to help understand the market and the terminology. Its a terrific overall guide to gain confidence in yourself and begin to invest in the stock market. The whole investing environment can be so intimidating and she has removed that with this book allowing even those who doubted ever becoming an investor to now be one. Listening to the audio version her voice is very animated and clear, even humorous in her examples. Highly recommend this for both men & women, even teens. Thank you Ms. Stav for taking the mystery out of it all.

Review: I recently had the pleasure of meeting Julie Stav on the plane to Chicago while she was in the midst of her book tour. She very generously gave me a copy of her book to read. I must say that I am a dummy when it comes to the stock market -- I have NO interest in investing at all. I am her perfect target market. I found her enthusiasm about her subject infectious and this is certainly evident in her book. She is genuinely concerned about giving people the knowledge and power to take financial control of their lives by investing in the stock market. The information as presented was clear and intelligent. Her book was also a very enjoyable read and the analogies helped me make sense of this confusing subject. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it -- and meeting this most interesting and intelligent author. I highly recommend this book to anyone who would like to get their share! I am going to get mine! Summary: The only book you need on Investing
Review: This book is so easy and simple and short and sweet and to the point that reading it will cause you no trouble and get you motivated and excited about becoming a person who owns stock and does investing! You don't have to know what it is all about before you read this book. It will tell you, and give you a SYSTEM to follow. After you buy the book go to her website. If you get this book you don't need any others. After you have mastered this system and have been investing for a while you will be glad this book got you to where you are!

Review: This is a great book and Julie's a riot. Even though this book is directed at women, I really enjoyed what it had to teach. Her system for investing and understanding the financial markets is clear and makes sense. As an added bonus, I even learned a bit about the female psyche. So now I have tips to succeed not only with the stock market, but also with the important women in my life! This book is worth the read-buy it!
