Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A serious commentary on cyberpunk
Review: It is in the nature of anthologies to be fragmentary, and this collection of stories and articles are no exception. That said, some of the contributions to this volume are more fragmentary than usual, leaning heavily on the cyberpunk (and postmodern) books and movies they are trying to examine. William Gibsons thougts about bodies in a "virtual reality" are analyzed, as are Ballards, especially his work "Crash". Overall, this book is a good commentary on postmodern culture in print and pictures.
