Summary: Interesting read...
Review: This book is an excellent read, and well worth the purchase, as a science-fiction book.

While it is claimed to be non-fiction, the author(s) jump to too many conclusions without proper evidence to seriously consider this an in depth look into PX.

It is probably the most comprehensive resource for information on PX, but that in no way means that it covers all the possibilites. Obviously written by someone that wants to believe (Moore) and someone with an agenda to promote his other book (Berlitz); I have a hard time making my own judgements with their "facts" thrown in at every opportunity.

Berlitz seems to shamelesly promote his Bermuda Triangle book at every given opportunity by relating the stories of PX to stories of the triangle.

In a nutshell, give the book a read if you are interested in PX folklore, but don't consider it the "truth" behind the matter until you've read a few other accounts.

Summary: PHILADELPHIA EXPERIMENT IS TRUE
Review: THIS BOOK IS WELL WRITTEN FOR ITS TIME & FOLLOWS THE MOVIE PRETTY WELL. I THOUGHT IT WAS VERY GOOD. I WOULD ALSO RECOMMEND THE MONTAUK PROJECT BY PETER MOON & PRESTON B. NICHOLS AS A FOLLOW UP TO THIS BOOK (AS WELL AS THE MOVIE W/ MICHAEL PARE) THIS BOOK WAS GREAT!

Summary: An entertaining book . . .
Review: This is a book about an alleged Navy experiment to make a ship disappear during WWII. According to the legend, the Navy, Einstein, and a few other geniuses rendered a ship completely invisible and during the experiment the ship supposedly 'teleported' from one place to another. This, according to an eccentric fellow named Carlos Allende (aka Carl Allen), had some rather unfortunate effects on the ship's crew. Some crew members died, others went insane, and some 'melted' with the ship when it rematerialized, according to Carlos.

Anyway, it doesn't actually prove that any event like this really took place, unless you're willing to take the word of a few anonymous people and a nutty guy named Carl/Carlos.

It's an interesting work of fiction, in my opinion.
