Rating: Summary: Ordinary Women Who Accomplished the Extraordinary! Review: This is a gem of a book! Prill Boyle profiles 12 women who have "come into their own" later in life. Each woman's story offers hope and inspiration. These women (including Prill's personal story) convinced me that nothing is impossible! After reading this book, I wanted to share it with many of my friends and family members so they, too, could be inspired.
Rating: Summary: Do you toil away at jobs that are smaller than your spirits? Review: This is the line at the beginning of the book that "got me". These stories of amazing women who decided NOT to toil away at jobs that were smaller than their spirits moved me greatly.
This is a great read! Since I finished the book I haven't stopped talking about it!
Rating: Summary: Encouraging and Uplifting Book Review: This was a fast read, and left me in a great mood! I was so encouraged by the stories that I enrolled in some college courses, and am fulfilling my own dreams. Prill adds pieces of her own story and successes in between her interviews. That unique personalization leaves the reader with a feeling of intimacy with the author.
On a personal level, I am close friends with Prill's sister-in-law, and had the opportunity to meet her once, many years ago. Her personality is infectiously positive. That personality comes through in her book. Congratulations to Prill for a fantastic book, inspiring and uplifting to those of us in the "prime" of our lives!
