Review: This is a great book. Dr. Lott explains in plain English exactly how and why more guns means less crime. He did the largest study on the subject ever conducted.If you want all the statistics, it's in here. If you want a general explanation, it's there. If you don't understand anything about statistics, that is fine. Wether you want to make a living studying guns and crime or just want to sort our the truth from the lies for your family, this is the place to start. The information contained in this book is so valuable that you will keep coming back to it as you read other studies on guns. It is the best book I have ever read on the subject.

Summary: Don't Confuse Me With the Facts???
Review: With an increasing difficulty in finding honest, undistorted information on gun control, it's a breath of fresh air to read Mr. Lott's book "More Guns, Less Crime." Void of the all too frequent (and commonly swallowed) emotional and sensational appeal, this book deals with what is really happening in your city and mine. Having been gathered from undisputable sources, real world data and examples abound, supporting or refuting many current and popular claims. Though I am not a concealed-carrier or even a gun fanatic, I am open to the truth. I have seen and do indeed acknowledge the deterrence effect of responsible gun ownership right here in OKC. Too many of us feel a certain way about an issue without having substantiated reasons to do so. Consequently, Mr. Lott has presented the facts on gun control. Will you listen? ***I HIGHLY RECOMMEND "MORE GUNS, LESS CRIME" TO BOTH SIDES!***
