Rating: Summary: Horrifying, disgusting, fascinating Review: My husband and I have been looking for a house for several months. We couldn't find much that we liked, and our realtor said there was the cutest house nearby, and she couldn't understand why it wouldn't sell. We thought we'd have a look, even though we'd heard it used to owned by the Sexton family. I had only the haziest memory of the story, and had no objection to looking the house over. We went and saw the place and just fell in love with the house, but the owner(we didn't know who) wouldn't come down on the price. Yesterday, my husband came home with the Massillon Independent with the story of Willie Sexton going to trial. I was fascinated, did some online research, and went out and bought the book. To make a long story less long, I read it in less than a day, and my skin is still crawling. I have read a lot of horror and true crime stories, and this one beats them all by a long shot in creepiness. Maybe it's because I have a personal interest, but I don't think so. It is the best true crime book I have read to date. A Must Read!
Rating: Summary: Who could have ever imagined! Review: My sister recommeded this book to me and my sister-in-law was reading it at the time that I was starting the book and she said that she couldn't finish the book because of everything that Sexton did to his family and she couldn't go on to the end, but once I started I couldn't put it down. This by far is one of the best true crime books that I have read. As far as the pictures are concerned I do agree with the reader that said they could have done without seeing the picture of the infant that was murdered. I do feel sorry for the Sexton children because they were raised to believe the life they were living was normal thus is why they never questioned their lives and the things that were happening to them. Now they are entering into a life that is nothing compared to what they lived while living with their parents and I am sure that it is a huge culture shock for them, but at the same time a wonderful change. Great book if you can finish it I recommend it to anyone that is trying to understand and get a concept of what is actually out in the world happening to others and their families, it is not just strangers that get victimized.
Rating: Summary: A MUST READ Review: This book is truely amazing. The author told this story so well. He made sure he put every discription of the accounts that truely happen in this book. This book is really disturbing, yet you will not want to put it down. The things that happen within this family are incredible. I was very impressed with the way the author gave an update on the children. The pictures helped so much to see what you were seeing in your own minds eye. The thing that is most hard to believe is these kinds of things are more than likely still going on in this world. A Must Read
Rating: Summary: Over Looking Childrens Pain Review: This book was one of the best books i have ever set down with. your heart goes out to the children so much, it leaves you thining that in some way there was always something else there telling all of them it would never be over. the strong win always and the kids proved it! in my own mind, and in so many others as well, this can not be real, are people really like this. the sad truth is yes! and evil has a name and a face in this real life story.
