Review: A good place to start to update your neglected feminist education, this collection of essays by well-known feminist thinkers affords a complete range of feminist theory and thought. It is a consciousness-raising read, as well as a good, organized way to understand lines of thought that are popularly represented only by media sound bites. While everyone may not agree with the opinions expressed, it would be in error to in any way label them ignorant opinions. Some of the essays are difficult to wade through, since they originated in scholarly journals and collections and contain a plethora of technical terms, many of which are the exclusive property of the discipline represented.
