Rating: Summary: Outstanding tool for teacher planning. Review: As a veteran teacher, I feel fortunate to have this book in my possession. It provides the best form for planning good units that I have ever seen. Both well-explained and supplied with excellent and varied examples showing best practices, this book is definitely worth your while if you are an educator. The explanation of how to use the format, the examples of strong units, and the form itself are easy to understand and very stimulating. Honestly, after reading the book for about two hours, I brainstormed three great math units in about 3 hours, coming up with a much more interesting and comprehensive approach to the units than I would have otherwise.
