Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Haynes GM AutomAtic Transmission Overhaul Manual
Review: This book is excellently written To be an invaluable to to anyone interested in rebuilding a General Motors automatic transmission. It gives a good theoretical base to start from, describes the needed tools, and give excellent step by step instructions.

The only negative thing that I can say about this manual is that it only covers four models. Covered are the TH 200-4R, TH 700-R4 TH 350,and the TH 400. Also, only the mechanical versions of the four speed transmissions are covered.

Since these are probably the most common models, these limitations don't really decrease the value of this book. Definatly a must have addition to any true Motor Head's book collection.
