Summary: Must read for Christians looking to educate themselves
Review: I was impressed with the volume of detail in this work. It was overwhelmingly specific in many areas and supported the Christian Heritage of our Nation. It accurately quoted scripture throughout and I many times was impressed with the common sense our historical figures had towards government. We were truly one nation under God and it is clear how far we have decayed as a nation from reading this work.

Summary: The influence of Christianity in the early history of the US
Review: This book is extremely valuable for information about the influence of Christianity on the founding of the USA. There are extensive quotations from Columbus, the Mayflower Compact, the founding fathers, and so on, showing that America was founded by Christians with the intent of spreading the Gospel of Christ, and building the Kingdom of God on earth.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Misinformation, true but skewed
Review: This like so many other similar books are filled with misinformation. Most quotes are from explorers (Columbus), colonists (Mayflower compact) and famous figures who had little to do with the founding of the government of the United States. Read some Jefferson, Thomas Paine and the Treaty of Tripoli and you'll see that even though there were a handful of Christians in the US in its origins -- the US was not founded upon Christianity.

Mostly factual information, but skewed in it's presentation.

Summary: Read for yourself
Review: Um...it appears that the review by "Derek" is merely a response to the first reviewer, and that Derek has not really read the book himself.
