Summary: Been around forever for a reason
Review: This book has been around since I was in college during the Punic Wars. However, like Strunk & White's ELEMENTS OF STYLE, it's earned its tenure for good reason: it's thorough and accessible. As a student, I garnered much, and, now, as an instructor, I find it an easy guide from which to teach. (The MLA style updates are handy, although you can find them almost anywhere these days.) For teachers and students, THE HARBRACE HANDBOOK is rapidly becoming indispensible.Rocco Dormarunno
