Summary: To give to teachers, parents and caregivers
Review: From BASICS to understanding what is happening inside the maind of an Aperger's kid. This book gave us more information on how to manage my son than any seminars we attended before. To the K. teacher gave tools and what to do for difficult moments. We keep this book at school for everyone to consult . Information makes the difference to understanding and improving teaching.

Summary: Great for the classroom
Review: I found this book very helpful when working with children with autism. The way it is written makes it easy to read and well organized. The teacher I work with appreciated the book for the examples, suggestions and many reusable forms. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who works with children who have autism.

Summary: A great book for parents and professionals
Review: This book explains different situations you WILL encounter working with special needs children and the classroom and beyond. It provides clear instructions on what to do and WHAT NOT TO DO in a variety of situations.

I give this book to teachers, aides and professionals who work with my kid as holiday or welcome to the team gifts. It is a good read and resources.

Summary: A terrific book for parents
Review: This book has a wealth of information. Even though the chapters are short, and because of that, very readable, they are jam packed with useful information. I especially liked the tremendous number of specific, useful strategies located in the tables within part 2. I wonder if the reviewer below read the same book I read because I found this VERY readable.

Summary: A terrific book for parents
Review: This is a must have book if you are a parent or educator of a child with autism. The book is broken into two parts with the first part being a great general overview of autism and related disabilities. Part 2 provides information about how to work with children who have autism. Unlike some of the other books I have purchased, this book is written in an engaging and easy to understand manner.
