Rating: Summary: A Different Type of Homeless Story Review: With a near poetic style of writing, Stringer brings the reader a series of tales from his experience of living on the streets of New York from the 80's to the 90's. What is so great about this work is that he doesn't go into gory detail of his becoming homeless or how he managed to change his life. Rather, Stringer offers us a view from one who was once outside the box and then allowed himself to be brought in. Fantastic writing style with a keen story telling sense. A solid purchase.
