Review: As a reading specialist, I'm always looking for ways to integrate quality children's literature into my content area lessons. When I read this book, I could not put it down! It is full of easy, practical lessons. These lessons encourage children to think, develop their own math strategies, and use writing or drawings to show how they solved mathematical problems. I liked this book so much, that I wrote a grant to purchase this book and the 21 trade books used for the lessons. I highly recommend this!
