Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Nice numbers and good information
Review: If you don't think you will like the book because of the title, take another look. I was considering a book for a class and found that pulling multiple books in the same subject matter gives you more info., reguardless of bias or point of view. I had no idea that one of the major changes to social security took place in 1974. This is like, just the other day. They mention the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, and it is a very easy read. No, you will not get a pro and a con on who to vote for in 2004. Political animals should read, "The Looting of Social Security", by Allen Smith. That one is far more current. And, although I didn't agree with the materials, has a wealth of knowledge on current events.
