Rating: Summary: Keeping abreast of mankind Review: Walter S. Jones has a way of getting to the point, explaining the point, and illustrating relationships between his points. In our ever-changing world, international politics and social issues can be very confusing. Jones breaks down the issues into several categories (perspectives, politics, economics, power, organizations) without actually separating the issues, but instead combining them into a "big picture" that one can mentally actually see. The newest edition (there seem to always be new editions) is always up to date with the newest developments and their ramifications to the above-listed issues. This book is very useful in teaching Internation Relations, and a good read if you just want to be able to visualize what all the political eggheads are always talking about.
