Rating: Summary: Looking for a moral compass? Look to the ages. Review: I teach a graduate course in public ethics in the MPA Graduate program at the University of Rhode Island. This book of collected articles and commentaries would be of great use in the classroom. Prof. Boss has had years of experience teaching ethics to both undergrad and graduate students. With that knowledge of the field and of how students learn, Prof. Boss has created in one volume a sourcebook on ethics guaranteed to help either the professor to relate ethics to everyday life for her students or for the layman interested in finding and understanding an ethical path for doing the right thing in a world which seems to have lost its moral compass. I highly recommend this title for classroom use and for those interested in ethical decision making.--Michael Vocino, Professor and Director of Libraries, University of Rhode Island, Kingston, RI 02881
