Summary: Excellent teacher resource for teaching writing.
Review: I have used this book almost exclusively for about five years now. It is very thorough and provides a step-by-step guide to teaching students the writing process. The book is well-researched and follows the writing process used in most American schools today. Students are taught writing from the pre-writing to the publication stage. My students have always enjoyed the creative activities. So much nicer to use with our creative writers than the typical textbook! I highly recommend this book!
