Rating: Summary: An excellent look at the daily problems of an administrator. Review: Robert E. Kirschmann has written an interesting and comprehensive book of case studies about educational administration. The cases included were compelling, and drew my attention as a reader, not to mention being useful as a text for any college of education's graduate program. Dr. Kirschmann has brought the real situations encountered by a superintendent or pricipal to life, and has included some amusing stories about the problems that all administrators face when dealing with red tape. The questions at the end of each case were thought provoking and definitely of use for both a review of one's methods in a current position or for exposure to those entering the field.
